please, please.. stop coming to the forums to complain about this “double-teaming” business. i know that we are used to winning because we’ve been above average right from the start (i was pretty active last year before i took a long break), but that doesn’t mean we’re entitled to win without working hard for it

posting random screenies of red and blue players standing next to each other doesn’t prove anything. complaining about 2v1 because we’re 3rd place is just embarrassing because we do it ourselves

we need to work on getting a stable community who are keen on wvw, we need to secure our teamspeak server, we need to choose our fights wisely, we need to not give up when the fight gets tough, we need to stomp [gck] many more times, but most of all i think we need to improve our attitudes and be less arrogant

if we lose, it’s not because we got 2v1ed, but because we’re a long way from being the best server

so please, think before you post. if you hate me for this, that’s fine. but if our server continues acting childish and expecting to win without effort, then i’m afraid i would gladly pay to transfer elsewhere

I think you’r right about screen posting and stuffs.
I also agree when you say SFR is not the strongest server.
I don’t agree when you ask people to don’t talk about double teaming.
Personally speaking, I’m ok in 2vs1 when this is made by weaker servers to fight a stronger one. I’m ok when a weaker server is opportunist when matched up with 2 bigger servers. But I’m not when every big server will search a stable alliance to secure its supremacy.
I don’t want to talk about what happened. I just say if that WvW meta will include certain strategies probably I will stop following commanders (or the game itself).
I don’t even care about placement or achi, I just want good fights. Ironically, fighting 2 servers gives the chance to have really good one. But since alliances will be a strong tool to win, even our server probably will do that, and that’s the big problem for me.
I totally avoided some WvW weeks because match up was too unbalanced in our favor. I don’t like trains.
Now imagine a WvW where every big server has 1 or more small allies and think how it would work.
So, mate, I’m not ok to 2vs1 in every situation.
Besides that, I don’t think it’s a good idea to transfer because less than 10 people posted something wrong here, if your server’s population is not le than 20. But, ehy, your money… Seems you’r not too attached to your guild or friends

I would be more specific and say something about what I saw in the last discussion, but I prefer to respect the code of conduct. I don’t want to write for nothing, if you now what i mean.

purifer, please take my comment in context. i was saying we shouldn’t complain about 2v1s when we’re 3rd place, while we do it to other servers ourselves. i never said 2v1s were not an issue. there was a thread suggesting ways to try and fix 2v1s which i contributed to and the mods later removed because some SFRers came and posted out-of-topic stuff. and i wouldn’t have bothered to post here to try and fix my server’s attitude if i didn’t care. your comment about my attachments is irrelevant and unnecessary

Irrilevant? I don’t think. Even if i don’t like the attitude of people complaining about someting that is legit I can’t avoid to notice something like this.
What is this, a menace? A whine, or what?
I can’t believe someone will think seriously about a transfer for a small number of QQers (or at least as you perceive them), so what’s the reason of that statement?
I think I would not have a great opinion of a guildmate that one day comes and say “I’m off of this server guys, too much QQ on the forum”.

You think this is not important? Consider that the attitude you show in your first post influenced all asnwers. If you open a discussion in this way, I can’t take you seriously at 100%.

Ok, now I know that you too are bothered by the problems that 2vs1 could create.

deli, the people who QQ and boast here don’t use our forum. the ones who have any sense don’t use this general forum (sigh.. it appears i don’t have sense either)

purifer, i can be really harsh when i have my loyalties questioned, so i apologise. but you have no idea what is going on in our server. we have people constantly complaining on chat and ts, and then ragequitting when we lose fights, which is actually when we need people the most. i am making a plea to SFRers to adjust their attitude to the game. the threat was thrown in at the end because:

1) my long break from the game was because i was kitten ed off with those who were arrogant and boasting everywhere because we won most of our fights, even against VS when the game was relatively new. i came back and the attitude has changed little

2) i cannot stand working so hard in wvw to benefit those who are jerks, even if they are a small number. and you have to realise it is this small number who do the most damage in terms of morale and kitten ing people off

I realize the situation, because I’m from SFR, too. You can block arrogant people (you will find those ppl in every server, in every mmo).
Also, you are not forced to scout or escort dollies. Join a zerg, roam, you can do funny stuffs and be useful without doing the boring hard work.
Meanwhile, you can work to emprove community (if you want).
Attract casual players from general forum, main chat, and bring them on ts or sfr forum.
I know, we already do every day, all the time, but I can tell you that the situation is slowly going better.
Still, don’t let few ppl ruin the game for you, because you can’t stop them. There always will be a minority of ppl that QQ even if things are going fine.

Doubleteam only occurs in the Season. If Vizunah needs it ok and piken like it to be a vizunahs henchman it is also ok. Every one can play as he likes.

No crying in forums about crying is not the solution, there are still queues in the borders, even when we get doubleteamed, so i see a great will to fight.

in the past where sfr was a smaller server we fought even if we where outnumbered on the map and dont give up. I like this spirit. With all the wtj before the season this spirit was not there, but now it gets better in matchup like vizunah and piken.

GCK is a special frontline force (not a guild) i made for open field, with only tanky war/guards veterans and very angry. I created it after seeing VS war/guards fleeing in fight in september, and found it terrible. GCK members come from GC/VS guilds and must all follow the codex.

Most of them made Shiverpeaks, Blacktidian, Seafarers, Arborean and Elonian wars. Their scars are large as their rage.

Retreat is forbidden in it.

Vizunah need it? Lol. Piken a henchman? Double lol.

Here is a simplistic timeline:

Piken won round 1 over SFR by a narrow marginal. Vizunah beat the snot out of both, as usual.

SFR doubleteamed Piken with Riverside. Its not the first time servers roflstomp Piken due to vastly superior coverage and manpower and we already knew SFR had both since long before the league began. SFR forum warriors called it “revenge” for round 1 with their “if we lost that means the enemy cheated, we’re pure awesome and can even beat Vizunah while standing on one hand casting fireballs from our kitten !” type mentality.

Round 3 begin and SFR instantly blaim Piken for doubleteaming with Vizunah (actually I think they started before the round began). Vizunah doesnt seem to care, they dominate like they always do due to coverage, organisation and zerg power. The more SFR QQ on the forums, the more Piken focus on them for laughs and ignore Vizunah.

And there you have it. Its simple human nature. We are mean, cruel, spiteful creatures. If someone says you do something… well why not do it?

Even if was a joke, you get the point.
I see a lot of people from SFR or VS that tells the same things. Their server is always better, but then you did team up, OR our server is better, we never did team up…

INSTEAD, Sielfiel described it right. Every type of team up is legit. Someone thinked that the VS and PS alliance was too much evident, and now instead of making alliances without showing too much, every server will adopt the same method.
