To the righteous few who believe that WvW is going down the toilet and still have the energy to express their opinions.

You see the recent changes ANet has made, whatever your opinion on them, have undoubtedly created an influx of players to WvW. Which is undoubtedly reflected in ANets metrics. Which by ANet logic means the changes are good and no amount of debate will change their minds.

the changes are good. the lower populated worlds are full again. only the servers that have been buying guilds to get round the clock coverage have problems and anet already has a fix for them go to a lower pop server.

I agree it’s been great.

The hostility towards other players coming in to WvW on some of the T1 servers is pretty sad. Really not a good way to grow a community.

Your positivity isn’t making my queue move any faster, unfortunately.

Watching the new players repairing walls while still being trebbed is good for WvW. Then there will be no supply making it easier to flip and get more achievements.

OCeanic SoR here and I don’t think the SoR community is that hostile towards the influx of the newbies. At least not while I am on TS listening, most of us agree it does suck from time to time but it’s always better to ahve new WvW players.

Yes, it’s totally wonderful. Really, I enjoyed not getting in for three hours this afternoon (all the time I had, wasted waiting for a queue).

Get, what do you find? Lag so terrible you literally cannot cast anything at all, whilst the staff spammers and warrior wavers spam damage at all and sundry and their regen keeps ticking.

If this is meant to encourage people to want to play wvw it’s failing miserably on any server that used to have a good, organised hardcore of wvw players, as they now cannot get in.

It’s pretty wonderful on my server – I think we were not outnumbered for about 30m on EB during NA primetime!

Just watched the achievement hunters drain all supply in WC and Klovan in EB and we ended up losing WC…..ya……they are there for WvW.

I play on the server currently ranked 17th. Never even considered transfering from here no matter how good or bad WvW would become. But I played some WvW almost every day and enjoyed it. Right now at prime time there is a 3h queue to EB and varied queue times for borderlands. Please tell me how is my server “stacked” for WvW and how it was “buying guilds”? So is the new WvW intended for 4 servers with low population and the rest may rot in queue?

Oceanic/SEA/early EU time zone player from Blackgate here. Having an influx of players during that time is kitten great. Even so, we still have 1 or 2 unqueued maps during those times. It’s been pretty fun showing PvE players how to WvW – what gear to build, which skills to use when, what siege is for, what scouting is, introducing them to the teamspeak server etc.

Well, gotta get them some experience so they aren’t newbs anymore. BTW, this crap happened even before leagues. Help them get better, quit acting like you weren’t a newb once.

3 hour que for eb what was the que for bl’s? i’m in gold league and maaaaybe there is a 20 minute que for 2 maps during primtime. i am guessing you are either in europe where everyone on server plays same hours or making things up.

Problem is that many of the pve players don’t want to learn. They are there to get the archivments and nothing else. I tried often. But at every gate there are flying more rams than needed and perhaps a cata and a treb.

I whisperd the guy who “stole” the omega to claim SMC alone but he said, he wants to play like he wants and golems are fun… yeha…

I tried to tell people not to repair the walls in SMC because 4 of them were broken already and the trebs are still shooting. Sadly i haven’t seen mats wasted tahst fast before and i melt away in minutes.

I tried to tell the guys in the ruins that they have to hold 3 of them at the same time for 3 minutes. But that would cost time and they want to get the archivement as fast as possible.

I think we have enough bot in wvw map. So great injection of player not interested to play/learn wvw is a waste of time and space for who is wanna play “seriously”. They are not interested in play good for the server victory. And they dont want listen other player.

In very happy if i know my queue is caused by interested player but … It’s not. Im sure a few of them will continue to play but how many left bored by skill lag and queue?

if you suspect that you see a bot in WvW try to kill the bot, or report the bot.

Gandara (EU) here, currently #12. During prime time longest queue I’ve had so far was 30 mins. Otherwise the most I’ve waited in queue was 5 mins..

Am I one of the few who only sees 3-5 minute queues? It was awful on reset and most of the weekends. I had to wait up to 30 minutes to get in. But Monday night seems fine with under 5 minutes wait and when it pass 11pm PST I even see outmanned in a server people thinks is stacked. Weird…

I didn’t say that we have 3 hours que for wvw. that was referred to your question to Awe. 3 hours que on eb. So we with rank 20 have also 3 hours. other maps are not that bad. but if you normally only had short queues on reset a que of 30 mins is long for our point of view.

The queues are also bugged. While one person can be in one for 3 hours, another person, can queue up within those three hours and get in within 10 minutes. Oh, and that is the same map, as well.

You need to refresh the queue, after awhile, or you might be waiting til you long in the next day.

yep but thats nothing new. I’m refreshing every 10 minutes. At resets before league it worked, but at the moment sadly not really
