Have anyone else noticed this Easter egg in the northern server borderland camp? There is a grey cat chasing a brown mouse in that area.

Noticed it. But does it actually refer to tom and jerry by name or are you’re just assuming it?

They are just named Cat and Rat, but I’m pretty sure it’s a reference, especially considering the colors.

Need more than the natural behaviour of cats and coincidental colors to be a reference!
A grey cat chasing a brown mouse isn’t exclusively Tom and Jerry. Whereas if the cat would trip, fall, stumble or get knocked down, while the mouse gets away, I would say it would definitely be a Tom and Jerry reference.
Not saying what you found isn’t a reference, but the reference is kind of weak compared to others.

But it is not a mouse it is a rat. They are totally too different things other than both being rodents. For one thing rats have 22 chromosome pairs, house mice have 20. Another is rats have 6 pairs of nipples, house mice have 5 pairs. And rats will engage in muricide, which is killing of mice.

It’s in a PvP zone, right? Tom and Jerry were the original PvP toons. Makes sense to me.

yeah seen it it used to be slower now the chase is faster….one of my guildies killed them though for daily :-((

I think that a little girl and boy NPCs talk about the cat chasing the rat. Harry Potter reference, from Prisoner of Azkaban. Hermaine’s cat kept chasing Ron’s rat around Hogwarts.

God who cares if it’s Tom and Jerry or not? That was like the best TV show ever and it’d be amazingly awesome if it’s a reference. If not, who cares? It made the guy think about Tom and Jerry. Moving on now…

I’d be sold if the cat was carrying a mallet. Otherwise I’m a skeptic.
