Getting a handful per night is going to get old pretty fast. Last night I got 7 in just a few hours of playing. If I play nightly, I’m going to get a ton of them, and quickly. It would be nice if we could trade them in for badges or something WvW related. I don’t mind getting them, I just don’t need this many.

If you use them on a level 80 then you get Spirit Shards.

I agree it would be nice to trade them for something. I have 15 level 80s on my main account and 5 level 80s on my alt account. I really have no need at all for tomes of knowledge anymore but they just keep stacking up in my bank.

And I mean really, I’ll hear nothing of Spirit Shards, I have no use for those either lol.. Only thing that would do is make it to where I am not having wasted inventory slots.

Earned stacks and stacks from pvp rewards tracks. Sure, hundreds were turned to spirit shards, but at some point I just started to throw them out. It would be nice if there was another conversion for them.

Would love to trade them in for some logs…

I can only imagine how kittened off the climate change loving Asura’s are with my deforestation of Tyria and all Bad enough I started the journey to craft Nevermore on my Druid, who is by its very own nature supposedly a nature loving creature of the forest Yet here I am chopping down every tree and sapling I come across in my never ending greedy self indulgent crafting anti climate changing mother kittener Nevermore grind.

It’s not all that difficult to convert shards to gold in the mystic toilet. Just find an easy recipe you like and start tossing them in.

Edit: for a WvW’er the siege upgrade recipes are likely the best; you can either use or sell what you make then.

Do both PvP and WvW. Since they are using the reward tracks (thank you for the reward tracks option) from PvP, yes plan on a lot. Think I have 1500 in the bank now. Very sad the day they nerfed the key runs, that really should have become a once a day thing versus once a week.

Make 500 Omegas and sell them; your profit should be close to 1g per.

I’d like to see some type of system where you could just buy gear or skins. The TOK are being handed out like candy on Halloween lately, not that I mind. I’ve max out all my toons and thought about getting another toon slot, but honestly I’d rather just spend the tomes on something useful as in making my supermodel necromancer have a tighter shirt or something stupid. Or epic battle staff.

I’m just a wvw addict so they mean nothing to me right now.

- slot bags
- gear/weapons
- food/utility food

Or it would be nice if you really didn’t want ToK’s you could have an option on the reward track that let’s you cancel getting them in place of other more relevant things?

Not sure if that’s asking too much or if I’m still half asleep and can’t think of anything better to trade them in for.. Haha.

I definitely get the spirit shard to gold idea but I feel like that’s just an extra step for something else I don’t really need. I’d rather have some kind of tool like the ley-line one that lets me convert things into something else I need. I mean I always could use gold but the rate we get these tomes is crazy.
