Guild Wars 2

Hell0. I’m mostly an spvper, but sometimes I enjoy doing GvG. I’m currently on Maaguma, and I don’t keep up with a lot of the WvW stuff. Are all the good GvG guilds on this server or are they somewhere else?

Hey Zoose, big fan here (even tho i don’t even play ele lol), There are not good GvG guilds in T2 anymore, we used to have all the bests here in maguuma, KH, EP, Ark, Pyro, TG, but the all either left the game or went to T1. Saddly enoug Maguuma is a server of Roamers and Militia atm, u will not find a good competitive GvG experience in T2 anymore.

GvG in general has fallen to the wayside. There’s some guilds on other servers that still try it. TeamMicro on TC, oT on FA, Syn on SoS, I think CORE on IoJ maybe. I don’t know who below T2 is GvG-ing these days.

ANet generally never liked GvG and it took nearly two years but they have effectively killed it. The GvG scene morphed and is now more or less GvZ (Guild versus Zerg). Watching 15 guys wade into 50+ is pretty awesome though.

The GvG scene grew out of GvZ. Didn’t morph nothing…

Zoose, I mailed you in-game about meeting to discuss GvG, which guilds are still around, the state of the GvG scene and what your options are. Contrary to popular belief, GvG isn’t at all dead, but the scene is pretty kittened up at the moment. Hit me up and we can talk.
