[Topic] WvW - Immobilize 10/15 Change
Yes it’s a really stupid change. You can easily get 10-15 secs of immobilize stacked on you now since everyone and their mother is running some kind of condition build with +60-70% condition duration. With condition cleansing nerfed in the last patch it’s nigh impossible to remove.
Immobilize was fine before the patch and a hard counter to many professions / builds such as guardian, I don’t understand why they had to go and make it even more powerful. Then again I don’t understand 90% of the decisions the balance team takes anyway…

Funny you say this, I thought I was glitched in terrain the first 3 or 4 times, where you have to /dance to get your character free. I was dancing to get free and still nothing was happening. Then I raged in TS and guildie mentioned the change.
Can someone comment on why this change was made?

Is this actually a bug or was it intended? I wasn’t sure before. I guess its strange if its intended.
There’s no condition duration food in spvp and the trait lines with cond dur% are often bound to opposite stats (e.g. thief (venom), it’s in the power line), so the change was done in regards to widen build variety rather than giving a kitten what it does in wvw.
Love skill lock bug, you can dodge infinitely with it. Guardian rolls heals are op now.

Thanks Empyre, that makes some sense. Sounds like this change needs to be reverted in PVE/WvW then (skill separation).
