I ran into a couple of enemies in our spawn during Golem Rush week, reported both in game.

I could damage them but they couldn’t do the same back. That didn’t really help much as they kept on going invisible and moving. I am fairly sure they were after destroying our golems. Eventually I lost them, they may have mapped

There’s nothing players that get in to your spawn can do other than scouting out whether or not you have golems or killing NPC’s. Otherwise they can’t hurt anyone so it’s not a big deal.

That said, it’s definitely not intended so you can go ahead and report but it’s not likely they’ll suffer any penalty for it.

Also, remember that Stealth Traps are a thing and they’re very effective if placed wisely. That’s 30 whole seconds of being revealed if you tag someone with it.

Had those been available free I might agree with you. It costs nothing for thieves and mesmers to stealth so why should it cost me for a trap? Unfortunately their cost and supply needs, along with the fact that you have to be lucky enough for the enemy to trigger it, makes those less useful that it may seem.

Then I don’t want to kill enemies in my spawn. I want anet to fix it so they can’t be there – permanently. That, like so many other things, is something they do not seem capable of.

Um, I thought there were portals and big gates that blocked access to citadel area for enemies. Essentially as far as I can remember there’s no way for an enemy to get there legitimately.

Well,obviously they are hacking.
Either flew over or went under the map.
And their invis has nothing to do with the class they play,
it’s not the normal stealth,it is hacked,so traps wouldn’t
be of much help.

there is a way to legitimately get into citadel. u can just jump up the slope on the northeast side of the spawn and you’re in.

This is not an opinion on whether someone should or not be allowed to get into spawn areas. I am responding purely to the stealth trap part of your post.

Stealth traps are a direct counter to a very essential part of those classes, yeah sure they can play without it but that results in a suboptimal gameplay. Why should everyone be give free counter to particular classes? The traps are already cheap and their costs simply stop people from spamming them everywhere.
