In the little advertisement for this wvw tournament coming up, it says.
“Finally, I want to explain the new system of rewards we are putting in place. At the end of the tournament, everyone who has completed the meta achievement will be given a chest containing WvW Tournament tickets. You’ll also receive a unique title, and players in the top three worlds of each league will receive a limited-use dolyak trophy finisher.”

Last time, we were told this, and we were outright lied to. The top 3 worlds OVERALL got finishers. Second and third place in each league got nothing of the sort. Anet later tried to play it off as a misunderstanding, but no, it was an outright and direct lie.

So what’s the actual truth this time, because I’m almost sure it will be something other than what we’ve just been told.

I love you guys, I really do. The game is genrally fantastic, and overall I love it, but there is a clear and consistent failure in your communications with the player base (descriptions that don’t make sense, descriptions that actually mean their least likely interpretation, and in the previous wvw season outright lies), so I have a really hard time taking any statement about reward structures seriously any more without direct and specific acknowledgement.

Reward Time: I received 500 WvW Claim tickets, Swig of World Experience, WvW items etc. Our server is Henge of Denravi, we are ranked 7th overall and 1st in our league. We came in first every week of the Tournament. I finished the 2014 Meta fast and played nearly everyday. No Dolyak Finisher… sigh* Why?

Jade Quarry here. Looks like we placed 1st in the Gold League. Got the 500 tickets, a trebuchet blueprint, metabolic primer and some other junk. No finisher.

Because all your badwagoners are your reward. You got a lot of Darkhaven’s wvw population. Which was most of our primetime coverage.

Nobody got finisher because the Rewards are bugged, some people got less tickets than they should and other people didn’t even got their rewards, such as me (which is a good thing since i rather receive the proper rewards than something that wasn’t supposed to happen), all we can do it wait for Tuesday.

It should be a permanent finisher anyway, why limited-use.
