Transferring, need information on NSP/DH/CD
CD – NA Prime outside of reset is mediocre at best. Our Late NA is doing better, but has some growing to do. Currently our OCX is just the select dedicated players looking at around 20 tops on a good day. SEA exist not sure what they’re up to though as its not my timezone. EU is silly big but in a massive learning phase.
From what i’ve seen of the other servers NSP has a fairly stable NA, But is lacking other coverage zones. While DH is much like CD when it comes to NA, But has their dedicated SEA population to assist.
Maybe next week (or 2) we’ll actually have that matchup depending on how fast DB sinks.
OP need to tell us which timezone he is in….
Archeage = Farmville with PK
Adding on to azizul’s comment, it might also be helpful to other posters if the OP told us what type of WvW gameplay he/she prefers. Do you enjoy running with zergs? Solo-roaming? Running around with a small group?
CD NA is rough some nights, I would say we have the least amount of numbers but are working on fixing it and we never lose WP’s during NA prime as we have strong guilds. OCX is our weakest timezone but it’s basically the same on most other servers, just not very many players. SEA has a good amount of players still even with after a few of our guilds left, lots of pugs but not too many guilds, think we have 2 or 3 guilds during that timezone. As for EU we have 1 large guild that can get around 30 people daily and if they are in a PPT mood they can flip most maps if they want. I would say CD has the stronger sea/EU coverage PPT wise, but NA we are slightly lacking and ocx is pretty weak as well.

My prime is around 8pm EST, so I would assume that falls into NA Prime. I’m perfectly fine with joining a server if I’m not in the prime zone of that server; it changes things up. As for what I’m looking for, I’m more interested in solo roaming, small group roaming and the occasional zerging here or there. So I’m really flexible to which server I go to at the moment. Thanks for the info on CD btw!

Challenge accepted!
All 3 servers are relatively evenly matched, which will hopefully make a good tier 4. Being from NSP, I’ll talk mostly about that server.
OCX/SEA has historically been our weak spot, although we’ve got a small Australian guild and a plethora of roamers. If one of them decides to tag up, we can usually hold things. I don’t think our overnight coverage is as strong as CD/DH, however for all 3 servers I believe that leadership matters more than coverage.
NSP has a strong NA prime, as was stated earlier. Most of our off-hour coverage comes from NA players playing different shifts. With the current guild shuffling and bandwagoning, NSP has been a target for community-oriented guilds that want to transfer, rather than “fight” guilds (aka ‘all pile on one server and stack it so they can’t lose fights’ guilds). As you will hear from most NSP members, we pride ourselves on our server community and stability. We want people to transfer here for the community, not for the statistics, as an enjoyable game experience is not quantifiable.
If you’d like to know more about NSP, you can contact me (Curo.2483) or Arlien.9410. A full list of NSP admins is available to you when you log into our teamspeak at northernshiverpeaks.org. Keep in mind that users need to be verified in order to leave the lobby on our TS, but contacting an admin should be pretty easy.

Yeah, just to add on to what Curo said, NSP is strongest during NA Prime hours, of which you seem to fall in. If you’re looking for an organized guild to run with, there’s plenty of them out there. If you just want to join a map and find a tag, you’ll find there’s usually a tag on 3 or all 4 maps.
NSP has a few pugmanders who are pretty solid as well as some guild-run groups (like mine!) that tag up and let anybody run with us.

I must concur with the above about NSP. My guild [FIRE] is not native to NSP, however we have zero regrets in our transfer here last October. We were looking for a strong community that enjoyed competative (but not elitist) WvW, and this is what we found on NSP.
NA is extremely solid, EU is pretty solid, but is run by pugs and pugmanders. We could use a good EU guild or two to really dominate. CD has the stronger EU, and DH has the weakest. DH has the strongest SEA hands down, with NSP being the weakest there. And I would say we all have mediocre OCX at best.
I would be willing to answer any questions you may have. PM Xivor.8754 if you like!

Dh has strong NA/SEA, solid EU, but weak OCX. People saying NSP has stronger NA than Dh, but I don’t really agree with that honestly. I’d say Dh has stronger early NA and NSP has stronger late NA.
CD has solid but relatively weak NA compared to these 2. CD has strong SEA, comparable to Dh, but probably a little weaker. Strong EU. Weak OCX though.
NSP has strong EU/NA but weak OCX/SEA.
If you’re looking to roam, you should probably move to CD or Dh. NSP already has more roamers than most servers in the game, CD/Dh need more.
