I am a player who really enjoys the World vs World part of the game, and I love the look of the game. The only thing is, I don’t have any transmutation charges. I’m not sure if this is just a bad idea, but maybe anet could put something in where we could get transmutation charges from rank ups in WvW?

You get a zillion of them for doing Map Completion. You have to leave WvW to get enough of them, of course, but that’s what everyone else had to do as well to get theirs, it’s just how the game was designed.

Yeah that just sounds…. awful. I also heard you can get a fair amount of them from PvP, so why is the red headed step child that is WvW getting neglected once again? Do the dev’s hate us or did they just completely forget there is another game mode?

We’ve literally seen nothing new since EotM besides 3 tag colors, 1 trap and golem mastery.

You can buy weapon skins with badges that don’t require charges to apply. Many of them are equivalent to skins you get in PVE from karma vendors.

I know that, but I mean other things like I wanted to put my flame kissed armor on, my Dawn skin (got it from pvp, I’m not rich) and other stuff like that.

You could always covert gold to gems and buy the charges. Otherwise your only options are PVE.

While that would be nice and all, if they put that in some people would be loaded up with them for years just from their current stockpiles. I doubt that’s something ANet would want. It’d be nice to give us something to do with them but I just see that being an issue. I mean they won’t even let us salvage the gear like they let us with dungeon tokens, which would probably be a good push towards making WvW more rewarding…

I think the idea of dropping from reward chests is solid though. One ever 25? Or random? /shrug.

Let us exchange some of that dragonite/bloodstone garbage that is always filling up my bags.

I still don’t get enough Dragonite from WvW, even via EotM.

Farm dredge in EB for black lion keys then open black lion chests for transmutation charges. INB4 all the personal story BLK farmers fill up the queues in EB.

True enough. Then again, I’d also support base WvW turning into a Red vs Blue vs Green system to filter out stuff like server imbalances. I get the idea of server pride, but it’s not that important to me.

This game needs factions, not red vs blue vs green. They talk a lot about server pride, about identity…. then, they spend a LOT of limited resources to release EoTM with colors and overflows… Anet have no idea what they are doing.

This last tournament is the last nail in the coffin for WvW.

On topic, for sure WvW should offer a lot more rewards and utilities, like PvE. Badges should be a real concurrency to buy good things. But they need to be removed from EoTM chest. Only dropped by players.

But this is a PvE game, an easy one, for casual players.

If I could give you mine I would. I have no interest in crafting, so that stuff just clogs up my inventory.

Doing some PvP gives you enough transmutation charges, at least it does for me.
