I needed to post this for my own solace. I don’t understand why, in WvW, I can’t talk trash to the enemy team when they can dance on my corpse.

Just a rant, and now i’m over it.

It’s simple: Kill them back, then dance on their corpse.

Like the guy said above, earn the right to talk trash by killing them instead.

Because spies would then be considered a new profession?

No, the best way to troll people is to kill them and leave them in the downed state.

You can already party up with or whisper enemies, so the spy thing is no excuse.

Sometimes I /laugh before getting downed by a group, and if they procede to dance on my corpse maybe take out my wind kite as a sign of discontent towards their noobish behaviours.

How do you party/whisper an enemy? Every time I’ve right clicked on their targeted portrait, all I get is Report. There a different way to /whisper or /invite?
I’ve always wondered, ’cuz at some point (long ago) I did get a whisper (could have been a party invite) from an enemy somehow.

Click the enemy, type /invite. If they’re in a group, type /join.

I like to have pleasant convos with people when I join or am joined by one. Had a kid trash talking me last night, just remained pleasant, by the end of the convo we were both wishing each other a good fight.

like i said, I type these words to vent. It’s just a rant, nothing more. I had a situation where 4 people attacked and killed me legitimately, but then they danced around my corpse like they were hardcore. I just wanted to be able to tell them how noobish they were acting. It doesn’t matter anymore.

I used to tea-bag people by abusing /sit, but after getting so many /laugh’s and /dance’s, I decided to change it up. /bow is for an amazing fight that went my way, /salute is for a tough, honorable opponent and if I fight anything less, it’s /shrug.

Do what people do to me when they fail to kill me multiple times, invite them to your pt and tell them what a noob they are.

I was invited to an enemy party,took me a minute to realize I was talking to the other side. They were upset about being killed.

It used to be able to invite invaders to party and u can speak to tgem there.
I made a few friends through tht way.. got myself ganked and killed while solo in jp later i invided thm into party and request for 1v1 scrimage. fight with honor!
But they disabled tht now

No it still works. At least it did this morning …. Was there a patch?

You have never been able to right click party an enemy as far as I know. Always have to type to group.

Short answer is that the game is made to accommodate as many carebears as they can attract.

People do this a lot when i kill them. Only a few actually talk tho. What could be the reason for inviting and then saying nothing? Do they want to know my name or something?

Yes likely .. so they can know who you are and what guild you are in. I wouldn’t worry too much about that though.. likely they just want to know who killed them.

My main toon is called Bamby. I get a little chuckle over them grouping with me and seeing a Disney character just spiked them.

I thought the method of chatting with enemies (without joining parties) was common knowledge. Oh well, I guess it should stay as uncommon knowledge for the overall health of the community.
