Tribal, Stalwart, Apostle Armor in WvW
AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Finally!!!
It IS also in PvP too btw. Not just in WvW. It’s the Legacy Armor track.
+10. Please continue to release armor sets in game, it gives players more things to work toward. Good job on this one.

This indeed is good news ty Anet! Another set to work on collecting lol.
Well kitten…. I missed that.
Back to wvw!
while i love the fact that they are making more armor, i have to say that these all look terrible

Like them or not, these are actually old armor sets that were formerly available via PvP Rewards, back when PvP had its own skin ecosystem. When that was phased out (generally a good thing,) these skins were left stranded, with no way to get some of the parts if you didn’t already have them.
They’ve been in significant demand by some part of the player base ever since, especially Tribal armor.
Thanks for the armor reward track. Please keep adding more reward tracks like these, maybe some more tribal armors in different versions, some that show more skin, and with antlers as a head piece.
why is it possible for wvwvw and pvp players to get pve skins through reward track but it’s not possible for pve players to get pvp/wvwvw skins?

You can.
1. Log in to WvW
2. Kill enough yaks/guards to get the bar to an acceptable level with 195 per tick the best. Lower levels will also work but will take longer the lower the bar is filled.
3. Idle in spawn, only leaving to kill a yak or guard once every 5 minutes or so to keep the reward bar from decaying via inactivity.
4. Run from any and all fights.
5. Repeat step 3 for roughly 6 hours or so per chest.
Congrats, you just obtained WvW track gear with no pvp while only pve’ing npcs.

To be fair, there are still quite a lot of PvE skins or items that cannot be gotten in WvW.
I only need 2 pieces of Stalwart and the track offers Obi and clovers \0/ win! Why no Heavy armor skins though? Not that I’m complaining, just noticed none of the 3 are for heavies.

I admit I was surprised to find more people then I would have expected be re-invigorated in WvW because of additional options in skins added to reward tracks. To ANet, please keep this up. Creating and releasing more armor and weapon skins via the tracks has some draw for people.

That is completely irrelevant. And not only because running away from other players and afking in spawn isn’t PvE at all. You just ignored his question entirely
