I used to play and have so much fun, basically what I used to do is WvW and little pvp, and gold farm for whatever shinnies I need or food for wvw.

I had people that I had so much fun with in WvW, as we started to log and all of us just want to wvw, make small group of 2-8 depends on the day, then after seasons and seasons of wvw, people started to transfer to the winning servers, and little by little then those people started to not log, one person that remained and kept playing with me as we both liked wvw so much, all of our memories were in wvw or pvp or farming gold for the shinnies and we met in wvw as well, seasons didn’t separate us as we didn’t care if we won or be the last, we might try to win of course but still it wasn’t the main goal.

Then HoT came, and little by little, as many other people, we couldn’t play wvw not because we don’t want to or because of the guild upgrades, we can’t find people, no enemies to fight (specially in the desert), and please don’t tell me go pvp, pvp is not something preferred for the past couple of years.

Through our time in wvw we fought same enemies, same servers same guilds, that we started to recognize each other when we see each other, and perhaps start to hunt each other in the old maps, we weren’t tired from that.

As for these new maps, I don’t know, I myself don’t like it, maybe some other people like it, but for me, EOTM is better than it, as a matter of fact, being in the blue side there is way fun as long as you have some people to play with (Kodans are so nice) =p

And please while you are trying to make changes for wvw, can you remove the armor repair altogether? it is not needed at all (specially for the servers with the outnumber that disappears right before you die, then when you use the wp they give you the outnumber again) =)

Ive come to hate posting on these forums because theyre so heavily censored, but this thread struck a note with me.

think about the user experience now, in the past you could log in and spend an hour relaxing with a dungeon run. come friday we got hyped for reset night and played until we fell asleep on our keyboards.

dungeon runs are almost extinct so you run fractals instead but end up spending more time in LFG than actually in the fractal clearing swamp.

maybe pve on the new map like dragon stand so you load into the map a few minutes after it starts and see 5 ppl standing around. try lfg for a taxi group but theyre all full.

so you go to spvp, spend 10m hacking at a bunker mesmer/ele or some DH teleports onto you and drops a bunch of trap garbage that glitches out which you cant even see.

go to wvw but your guild only runs 2 nights a week, but you figure since no tags Ill start a group. then get run over by a mega blob and everyone suddenly needs a break.

where do we go to have fun in this game?

Right now, in the grand plan of things, everyone is supposed to join a large guild and mining shinies for guild hall upgrades.

Cant even have fun on your own anymore. I used to like working the north diamond in alpine, you could actually use the towers to work on garri, or risk a cata and do both outer and inner.

EB still functions but kinda pointless when there 3 broken maps messing up the score.
