I know we don’t need another one of these topics, but getting farmed endlessly by an impervious enemy, is wearing me out. It’s starting to feel like this now.

If nothing else, maybe my venting will be worth a laugh.

Been there done that.

Just chill and play casual for a week or two. Im pretty sure it will resolve itself in one of two ways. Either your server drop and you will face more appropriate opposition, or you are facing a stacked server, in that case they will drop like a stone the next unlinking.

Make a boon corrupt reaper. Nothing is impervious to that.

Three exits. Four different maps.

Split up and have them come chase you; it dilutes their blob.

With glicko being back in, one week you will stomp your opponent and next week you will get stomp by the opponent, its no secret that glicko just doesn’t work. Most likely your next “sets of opponent” will still not be appropriate to the skill level of your server. Am not going to say the “M word” in here it might get the thread deleted for that

It’s a shame too the 1up 1down was just starting to settle in, i.e keeping t1 servers in t1 and t2

Love the music in that vid, such a classic, I think I will find an mp3 of it and play it next time I raid in WvW.

Like it was mentioned (as a roamer myself) either:

1.) Read the map (or learn to), go where you think they are not. If they are camping South half, head to North half. (Same with East/West)

2.) Run with peep/more peeps

3.) Change BL (it happens to the best of us where we just need to change sometimes)

4.) Wait for relinkings

5.) cant speak for your specific class/build as I cannot see the YT vid due to me being at werk but… Learn to play a class/build that has better escapability.

Also, one effective thing that can be done if you have a huge blob that just cap and run on your borderland (as opposed to those servers that leave a few people do defend), is to be groups of, lets say 4-5 people. As soon as they have taken a tower, you instatly take it back 5 min later. Every single time. Not 10 minutes later, but always straight away. Get over there with catas. If they come back and wipe you, you are instantly back again and again and again. This can be considered a bit “duh”, but it’s extremely annoying.

Remember, never fight an enemy on their terms.
