With the announcement of Path of Fire and Heart of Thorns coming to a close, I thought it fitting to send off HoT by acknowledging the strongest WvW guilds during this expansion. Here are my picks for the top 17 guilds.

RISE guild best guild super RPers trash blob guild [RISE] always dies on inc masters of the Die On Inc technique does not appreciate being acknowledged in another list thread nor be referred to as a “WvW Guild.” Please address us as PvE heroes who indulge in all aspects of the game (such as Role Playing, and forums wars). Our Lord Commander greatly despises such threads.

Another win for the boys.

They missed a few guilds, but it’s a nice list. (They are showing guilds that actually do official gvgs.)

There are some videos on youtube and on twitch from Gregor and Dyein I think with the GSA that can show off the gvgs.

This is obviously a troll post. OnS? TW? lol i don’t think so. Half og your guilds on that list got rolled by VR literally 1 pushed.

VR > Only if running around with no damage and full tank builds is skill. Their individual players are braindead and easy to kill.

So many guilds you don’t know that play well. To do a list is a bit foolish.

For example, BB on FA is quite good. They easily win 2-1 and 3-1 odds most of the time. Very tight group, server aware, and friendly. I salute them.

Well, at least this list has way more guilds than the other ones, isn’t it?
It also only include NA guilds instead of randomly mixing here and there.

Then again, making a list is stupid, I doubt most people even know how what guilds they have in their own server and likewise how updated and accurate their info are.

The list of best WvW guilds became useless the day they opened server transfers…like 4 years ago.

Said about most of these guilds. This isn’t the days of RG and the likes where you can fight massively outnumbered anymore. They field huge numbers and since HoT that’s about all that matters in making a guild carry a server. Catch one running alone and it’s almost always a free bag aside from the exceptional few who are immensely good which garnered the mass guild joins to make the blob big to begin with.

And I don’t mean in the context of builds for blobs/small-scale. Most members’ mechanical play is horrible when they’re alone or in a small group because they’re no longer being told where to stand/move, what skills to use, and when to use them. They’ll fidget around and burn cooldowns for no reason, spam, etc.

[RISE] top 10 NA fight guilds ONLY we’ve ever fight and currently active. Open field / GvG
1. BoRP – solid frontline, the best coordination, the best fighting mentality.
2. KEK – massive bomb, solid players one of the best players i know.
3. xD / Barcode – best at scatter, bomb anticipations and solid dedicated fight players.
4. TDS – solid frontline but daeronz is toxic
5. VR – Solid passive/aggression style BIG N STRONG !
6. BOO – not the best open field but have a really good above mediocre comp for 15v15
7. SF – Massive Necros in open field. and shout out to Thornton and Klow for putting up a good roster for 15s (dat 0-14. we need a rematch u phucks!)
8. DIE – really good frontline condi presure coordination in open field
9. OnS – gotta give it to Mal, these guys have stamina.. win or lose man they go out there with full force and wont easily give up.
10. ( I guess I don’t have anymore but I would pick probably other guilds we haven’t fought lower tiers, it is unfortunate but hopefully see you all soon)
honorable mentions to those guilds that disbanded but know they should of been top 5 or 6
