On rare occasions, my attacks would go right through them as if they are holograms.
Most recent was about 10 minutes ago to Sorrow Furnace’s dolyak in EB.
Anyone else experienced this issue?
Were you experiencing lag? It could be the dolyak is actually five feet ahead of where you are actually hitting.

This is most likely what’s going on. Use a long-range weapon to help with this, it usually hits the dolyak regardless.
No lag :/ Was able to mine resource nodes just fine as I was stalking this dolyak trying to inflict dmg. And all attacks were long-ranged (shortbow). Did them AoEs as well, no luck.
Lag yaks. I think it’s server side. It was probably a few hundred to thousand range ahead of you. If it has guards, they don’t lag, and you can usually find it with them. Otherwise, just run along it’s path spamming one with a melee weapon. Once the animations start to chain, you’ll know you’re hitting it.
When Dolyaks move back along their route after dropping off their supply, they are running, not walking. However, the Dolyak will only be running client-side for the players on the servers which the Dolyak belongs to.
For the other two servers the Dolyak will still be walking client side, which results in a large desync between the Dolyaks location server and client side. This desync grows larger as the Dolyak moves further back it’s path and resets when it starts its journey anew from the supply camp.
Targeted movements and projectiles are often good ways of finding the “real” location of the Dolyak when this happens.

That would explain the occasional teleporting dolyak.
One a related note is there any reason to kill returning dolayks? They aren’t carrying supplies. Does it delay the next delivery?
The dolyaks “teleport” to their real location when something forces a refresh in their location, such as a knock-back.
Killing returning dolyaks will make it have to respawn, and people like the wxp/achievement credit.

Dolyaks have a 5 minute respawn timer. In cases where the route takes longer than 5 minutes the Dolyak won’t return, but instead respawn instantly after delivering its supply.
So yes, killing the returning Dolyak will delay the next delivery.
Yes I see this bug alot when a Dolak is coming back from camp you attack it but it’s not were you see it then I usually run back to the camp and wait for the client to re sync it’s position

use an autoattack on it, see where the projectile goes to. chances are the dolyak isn’t where you see it.
What I’d do is shoot them and look around for a few of those red words “Miss” “Miss” “Miss” and proceed to drop AOEs on that area.
