The Underworld realm has a mostly steady place in 7th tier of the ranking ladder. However, it has always been our goal & pursuit to work our way up to the top. And we are willing to share this glory with any guild that wants to prove themselves!

I think the main reason we as a guild were swayed towards moving from Underworld was the WvWvW environment, there were so many trolls, being unreasonable, trying to make life difficult and undermining every order/suggestion, etc. etc., also no one seemed willing to place siege weapons, to bother escorting Dolyaks, to settle their differences and work together, and a certain Russian was involved and jumped the gun. :P

Pretty sure from what I’ve read above that most all of this has been sorted out, and Underworld seems to have come a long way since I first stepped into the WvW battlegrounds at BWE1, and after my guild left a couple months after release

As a guild I like to think we’ve come far as well, about 30 [WvW] on TS for operations, rallying the server to TS, think most people we got was 63 at one point, mass organisation is very much effective! I think we’ve established ourselves as one of the more dominant large guilds on our Server, and gone on a journey into many different tactics, organisation, etc. it’s going well I think, despite recently a dispute that occurred, a little exaggerated and dramatic to my mind, but there you go

Anyways just wanted to say hi to you guys, probs don’t know who I am, but UW used to be the only Server for me, and I consistently wanted to return subsequent to moving, however was halted by the opinions of the other guilds that transferred, of which we are the only ones still active and going strong

What about you guys, how have you been doing in the last few months? When did ÅÅ transfer? O.o and how’s the general server attitude nowadays, improved or the same?

It seems it took me maybe 2 or 3 weeks to solve pretty much all of the problems the old alliance had. I changed how the alliance worked and we managed to move back up a tier or two.

We have being doing pretty well to be honest, although the servers around us have had transfers from higher up which is something of a pain

you should honestly move back We have a strong alliance now, we share a 500 man server teamspeak and have a forum. Also we are getting mentored from some Tier1 guild leaders who wanted to share some of the knowledge.

Gandara is probably great, but Underworld is your home :P

The last time any alliance guild left the server was Rage, and that was a 20 man guild around 2 or 3 months ago.

If most people quit we wouldn’t have improved in wvw each week to overtake Ranik a server that came from the higher tiers and originally trounced us.

I still remember your legendary cata technique for taking Bravost and the blue keep. Back in the days you probably were the only commander I actually trusted.

The server isn’t perfect, but it has come a long way. With a litle bit of help, it may even get where it belongs (hint hint)

I’m not sure if I should be happy to see you or that I should be kitten off.
I don’t say this out loud very often, but you were an example for me of a good commander knowing what he is doing. Partially thanks to you I decided to go for the compendium and I have no regrets so far. I was quite kitten off / sad when you left, all together with these other impatient glory hunting guilds that left to Gandara.

I am the leader of ÄÄ and we rose from the ashes of the very Underworld you and all these guys abandoned. I got around 490 members whom are dedicated to wvw & in the process of being trained. I’m also co-founder of the new underworld alliance and currently in the process of gathering & uniting all the guilds in one wvw alliance. All that we need is a little extra manpower. You say you have consistently fealing the urge to return, well I can promise you that if you come back I may even forgive you :P

I hope you remember me. I remember you saying ‘Ok guys I have to go, please listen to Tidalwiz he seems to know what he is doing’. And that was 6 weeks before I got my compendium.

I do remember you, better now than before – what I’m rather certain of though is that ÅÅ were a RoF guild or some such, not UW, well originally I mean.; I remember fighting them on RoF, a lot. Also the sense was not one of searching for glory, it was one that UW was broken, every day new trolls, every day more people not placing siege and not helping and not listening and answering back trying to be a smartass, etc.

Out of the guilds that transferred, we are the only one still going strong, we have significantly less numbers than you guys it seems, but still field about 30+ guys on a food day, and run relatively well organised. After telling the guild of the possibility of returning, it seems quite a few do not want to leave Gandara, I’m pretty sure the odds are against us moving, unless something happens very dramatically in the next couple of days.

Underworld has indeed improved, our guys just need more Guidance on things happening.

Trolls are still here, but it takes a mere few minutes to shut them up, not the drama drama that used to happen.

I like to see Underworld like a Raw Diamond of Headstrong and Battlehardy Individuals that fight hard even when the odds are far from favorable.

Any guild that deceides to move here, has to work hard to get accepted and respected.

Flipping your tag on and shouting at ppl wont get them to follow you.

Once you earned your Name however, people do follow and you will have a strong base of people at your side.

IMHO this is a far better reward then being one of many Coms running around on the crowded WvW servers.

Here every one of you can, if you fight hard, make a difference and a name of yourself!
