This is obvious just a personal gripe with the gamemode. particularly on EBG I consistently have to deal with opponents I defeat who then simply respawn and return to fighting me in such a short period of time that I cannot doing any ppt without a group of the same or larger size.
I don’t like this at all. It is already so painfully difficult to actually kill anyone due to downed state existing. It takes alot of time and focus to pvp, so much so that you often have to cease your ppt completely while you do it.
Solution: the waypoint system is great on EBG. I want the base spawns of each bl to require more walking time though. Such that if you do have a keep contested, walking back to a fight is gonna take the enemy a significantly larger amount of time.
It is just painful to try and take sm against a larger force when they have guild upgrades everywhere. I mean what can you do? You send everyone up the stairs and wipe the enemy over and over again..come back down the stairs to damage the lord….go back up the stairs when they all come back…..trying desperately to get time to damage the lord. And each time they push you back up the stairs someone goes and heals the lord! some druid or elementalist ruins everything. And killing them has 0 effect ofc since by the time they port back and run to sm, only 30 seconds have passed. Just a case of fighting and winning but not being able to capitalize on it to ppt! Then fighting over and over till you eventually lose once and its all over….or fighting until you reach past your timelimit and somone pulls the gameover lever.
I mean why don’t we just have mobile waypoints for people to join on the commander’s position? Lol I mean cmon is that really such a stretch from the current system? Seems way more likely to be added than what I am asking for. Guild upgrade: Drop a banner that allows the castor to summon a waypoint at it’s position. Lasts for 20 seconds.
Here’s a guild upgrade idea that would actually make sense: Guild upgrade: Drop a weather node that when dropped, inflicts unblockable chill on opponents respawning from a nearby waypoint (or maybe just the base spawn wp). Chill lasts for 30 seconds.
This is really all I want: if someone successfully contests a keep waypoint….then enemy deaths should have a much larger impact in terms of how much time it gives you to ppt.

Just close their Garrison WP and you will buy much more time for your team. Or slow them attacking them when they run back you will usually meet solo players or small groups.
