But seriously. Since the last reset (2014. 08. 15.) WvW is near unplayable. Lag spikes every 5 minutes in EB (not just for me, my whole team at once). On borderlands it’s a bit better, but it’ still there, only every hour or so.

Seems to be a random regional issue if that makes sense. Since our members are from multiple countries, only a select few from the same region are lagging. But the region varies. It’s like a group lottery. Which 5 people will crash next?

Server: Whiteside Ridge (EU)
Occurs: All day

Your tier must have been the unlucky one to get their matchup hosted on the laggy EB map. Should be fine by next week, unless you guys get that specific server again.

Laggy on both SFR and Desolation. It happens every time they hold a tournament for spvp or are presenting at a games show- they remove server capacity and processing power from everything else to ensure spvp runs without the lags we get left with in wvw.

Silver tier unplayable these days, everyone gets dced, huge lag spikes. A good portion of WvW players took a week off for this… :\

This has nothing to do with match ups server, my main is on Vabbi and I was lagging out every 5-10mins yesterday, same on Aurora Glade with my 2nd account.

Same thing happening on GH…. Seems more and more have finally started to voice about this issue.

Don’t worry, someone will be along shortly to insist it’s your internet connections. Yes, all of them…

Well, that’s it, no point in going to EB. By the time you’ll get to SM, you already get kicked out.

Still an issue.

During a 2 hour raid: Lagspikes every 4-5 mins, got kicked out (with 8-10 people at the same time) 4 times.

Please, I know no one give a kitten about t9 or WvW at all. But just delete the mode if it’s gonna be unplayable anyway.

It’s not "T9"".

All tiers and servers have the problem for a week now, at different times of the day/week.
It seems (mostly) map related, in that that people problems are all in the same map(s), on that mu.

It last for a few hours, then it’s gone, then back again.

In our mu it was our own home bl that was screwed last night, with pretty much every guild group there (ours but the 2 other servers that were in too) that got massive lag spikes (as in 5/10+s freezes :/), random DC’s and such (most lost multiple times 50/80% of their members to dc’s).

Anet knows about it, there is like a dozen + threads about it for over a week now, and nothing is done about it.

On top of that, it’s far less noticeable, but it happens too in PvE, while it seems less widespread, it happens.

It’s either Anet getting HUGE problems with their ISP, or more than probably, problems linked to the changes they are doing for the patch, since it seems to affect NA too.

But as usual, they don’t communicate and we are left in the dark.

Well, my original post is 20 days old, it’s been going on good ol’ WSR for 3 weeks.

things are strange here…you are right every time there is something patch, tournament etc we get huge lag and the fact that there are no word of ANET on this matter sound like an approval.
Time ago i heard there are like 2 datacenter 1 in NA and 1 in EU(same problem occured with server association and ticket reward.).
Might be the eu datacenter having problem( low resource…etc.)?

It seems some router reconfiguration/changes, routes updates and so on is going up in EU recently too, it might impact GW2 too but not sure at all.

The fact they only have one ISP (from what i gathered overall) don’t help either.
