2) We are making some changes to bloodlust in advance of the season. More specific details will be out in the near future, I’m not sure when exactly.
Any news on these changes to Bloodlust? We now only have 10 days until the leagues start, and no news of changes were included in the patch preview.

4) The build on October 15th will have the initial changes to bloodlust. We want to see the impact it has during seasons before we make any additional changes to the buff. We think it still needs improving and we want it to be something that encourages servers that are falling behind in the battle to take the buff without overpowering servers that are already winning. That’s a complex balance to meet, which means we will make changes as needed to get closer to that.

1) The goal of the bloodlust buff is to impact the gameplay in WvW, not to simply provide additional rewards to players that have it. That being said the intial version of the buff is overly strong and we will be addressing that next Tuesday. The best version of the buff is one that incentivizes small groups to get the buff so they can come back if they are behind in the matchup, rather than one that only provides rewards incidental to WvW.

1) Bloodlust will be getting a major reduction in the stat bonuses for the time being. We have some additional ideas for ways to improve the buff to incentivize its use as a comeback mechanic that we haven’t finalized yet.

With his track record, Devon will probably dance around the questions while not actually answer the more concerning ones. I hope I’m wrong, I hope he has some solid answers for the community going forward so we can put some of the concerns to rest.

I would be fine with a limitation on the reach of the stat buffs.
Example EB is exempt from buff, or buff only applies to the map its on, or even you only get the buff in your BL and EB but not in an enemy BL.

he will answer what ever PR and Legal have given him a green light to answer, just like anyone else who has a job with a company and Interacts with the public would also have to do.
Everyone also watch the Manifesto video again, so we can keep throwing in their face all the things they thought they’d be able to do several years ago. Bonus points for calling the game “Duke Daikatana Wars 2 Forever” from now on.

Either that or bloodlust will now give +100 stats instead of +50

Already, even with the stat buff as it is, the majority of players avoid it and stay were the loot is…you also get more fights there too…cause that’s where everyone is…

it should give a MF buff so that way farming zergs can get better drops when they kill the lords. while we get better loot when we stomp ppl.
I’d be happy if stats boost were removed and only the stomp bonus remains.
I’m hoping they finally do something intelligent and swap it with outmanned buff like they should have done all along.

Actually that is pretty dumb. No one will go put effort into ruins for an outmanned buff, I feel unmotivated now and the buffs are worth having.
At this point. I’d be satisfied if they just got rid of the whole new area and put back the quaggan island and lake.

I think you kinda misunderstood.
He means the buf should be applied when you are outmanned. The ruins having nothing to do with it. The capture points can be removed.
Could always make bloodlust controlled vendors.
Each bloodlust spawns a vendor.
One vendor sells you weapon skins from the PvE dungeons.
Second vendor sells you armor skins from the PvE dungeons.
Third vendor sells you high level food, oils, and you can by laurels.
Each vendor uses only badges for currency.
For added measure, make the highest ranking vendor spawn in SMC.
Just make holding all 5 ruins give a higher ppt tick. It needs to effect points otherwise it’s pointless…get it? Pointless?
