I have this gut feeling that the upcoming patch is going to kitten a lot of WvW players off. Seriously in like just 3 months PvP gets a complete overhaul and to do kitten like that with WvW it will take them 30000000000000000x^2 years. Classes got specifically balanced for PvP but that same thing would never happen to WvW because “WvWers love PvE”. You can get ascended gear from PvE raids, fractals and now PvP. Right you need ascneded gear to kill npcs and PvPers need ascended gear to be considered esl pro… Arena net is lietrally killing/almost killed a gamemode that was more famous than PvP on purpose. It makes me sad when i come to these forums and read all these posts that have akittenng points but just straight up get ignored. Word on the street is that WvW team only has 2 devs working on it and that also part time their main focus is still PvE. GG boiis.

Yes, we definetly need the same treatment for WvW. Especially the guardian buffs, the weakest class in WvW that no one ever plays.

Guardian is one of the most played classes in WvW not because it’s strong or does a lot of damage or whatever, but because it has a unique role and provides AoE stability and group sustain that no one else can provide.

Anyway, the PvP patch also includes many changes to roaming type of skills, which aren’t used in GvG. I don’t see any reason why we shouldn’t have them as well.

Servers cant handle that… stacked players, since its a aoe spam game, would easilly lag every one, unless Anet enforced diferent timezones so A ktrain w/o oponents and B would ktrain later w/o oponents something similiar with what we have now. :< while C servers would have always the outmaned warning and gets ktrained all day and night.

Yes, i agree. as long as i can remember, people i know that play wvw, is of an opinion that anet does not care much about wvw. i have to say that we have gotten some love with a few changes. Some bad and other good, depending on who you ask. but i am most surprised that spvp get’s asended gear and better reward, while wvw doesn’t get any(for what i can see in the info about that patch). in spvp you can basicly play with white quality gear, and no need for food or siege to buy/spend gold on. But in wvw where we need all that, it looks like we don’t get anything. while reading the article about the new patch, it feels like another smack in the face.
I will be ready on patch-day reading the notes.
Hope we get something.

As a WvW players I can guarantee that the amount kitten we have taken and handled / given no other players from game mode has ever dealt with it. Helseth made one post and video about how kitten spvp is and guess what in like 3 months spvp gets a complete over haul. Past 4 years WvWers been crying about how many things they need to fix in WvW and how much attention we got? 0000000000

Again re read my post further up WvW has received a lot of attention within the last year alone, it’s all trial and error on their side. And PvP has been being changed since s1 started they never got it right it wasn’t becaause of Helseth ranting, it was from the PvP community pointing out their prestigious League system was nothing more than grind and wasn’t competitive.

And yes you guys are whining.
