I really, really hope that one of the exploits that were fixed on the 16th, is the exploit where people can just jump into WWW towers & keeps that they don’t own.

This is becoming more and more common. First, it were only a handful of people that did this, but because people saw that this kind of blatant exploiting went unpunished -despite several reports- more and more people do it.

It has even come to a point where players from servers that never did it before, do it too I guess they think that this kind of exploit is ‘expected’ if you want to be competetive in WWW

Does anyone know if this exploit is now finally fixed?

The update notes just say bugs/exploits fixed. The notes did not enumerate.

@Mhim, I caught PRO guild teleporting a little earlier. They took hills and bay in a matter of minutes. I reported them and caught them on fraps at bay. However, i’ve been told that posting proof of hacks on this forum is a bannable offence so i’ll refrain from doing so. If you want to see the video, i’ll pm you the youtube link.

this exploit has not been fixed. Thieves are flipping fully upgraded towers and keep because they can solo lords. Arena.net do not care. Its been a week already. The reporting is pointless because theres no exploit option and they’re not doing anything about it even if you report it as scamming. Instead they go after legal players instead of issue warning against cheaters

Erm which PRO guild are u talking about?Hopefully not ours, as we are all against hacking and exploiting.if it happenes quickly with our guild, you either had A a mesmer inside od B not checked all your walls as we are sneacky like that.but hey,if it is PRO you are accusing from aspenwood server, i wanna see that video!And checking our TS, there is only 7 people on atm and our guild usually isn’t on till in 3 hours from now.

Relax FA lol. His post referenced a completely different tier. He should have quoted the post but instead just retyped it and stated it was posted by X user.

oh ok because if one of our guild was doing that id make sure he will get punished or kicked.

Well, a FA mesmer from Echo did it again in the Bay keep in FA BL. He walked in through the east inner gate, made a portal, jumped out, made portal, 5 people portaled in (from different guilds: CL, LGD, eGO, Echo).

We wiped the few people that came in, but then the same mesmer just walked through the gate again. We wiped these cheater again.

In FA’s defence, the majority of the people didn’t take the portal in: there were 20 people outside ramming the gate who did not take the portal.
Those 20 were honest, they kept destroying the gate (and then killed us inside, we were only.

I hope that those 20 honest FAers reported the 5 cheaters too: maybe Anet would listen better to scamming reports when they come from people of the same server.

Arenanet seems to have real difficulty fixing exploits like this.
I want them to succeed, but reports to them, in the past, go into the “thanks for your report” category. Never to be heard from again.
There is no “call GM button/report exploit” capability.
Just don’t see things moving fast in the “we take our users reports seriously” category.

It would not take much to implement “game monitors” of dedicated players.
Changing the gm to 1) have no game skills, 2) toggleable steath, 3) ability to see all map/team/say chat channels, and any special anet channels for reporting, 4) Triple speed buff (to wander the map quickly) or a click on the map teleport skill, 5) To keep things clean, they lose ability to team with anybody but gms, lose guild/alliance chat, cannot gm on any server where their guilds have members. When visible, their name would be in yellow. It goes without saying that they are invulnerable, untargetable.
What would the gms get? 50 silver an hour, plus bonuses for confirmed exploit catches.

Yeah. I do not know what solution is best, but something needs to be done. I report them, under the scamming category like the DEV said, but I got a funny feeling that that doesn’t do alot: I can imagine that Anet checks chat logs and such when you report someone for scamming and that doesn’t exist in these cases.

I can only hope that Anet is aware of this problem and is fixing it. A little word from them would be nice
