Witnessed this tonight for the first time. This seems way over powered imo.

NSP used this again at reset. Is this really "working as intended "? Fighting an Omega who is holding a dragon banner …does this seem right to anyone?

if it was NSP is is ok :P.

I just hope gimmick banners to be removed, more bugs being discovered and used the better.

Can he usw it? Can your disable him? I do not think it is intended. But then again i really do not care for the walking Cannon fodder

Stupid bug errr i mean unintended feature.

Its a bug greatly buffing the dmg output of any banner.

It’s an exploit, not a bug or feature an actual exploit. I would advise people stop doing it.

In other news, you can also use the first aid kit when in a golem suit.

If ANet could remove “package pick-up” while in a golem suit, that would fix the situation completely. It would mean you wouldn’t be able to throw siege while in a golem, but that rarely happens anyway.

Dragon banner is pretty OP how it part of me kinda wants to fight a omega wielding a dragon banner. I must fight it before they patch it

Golems can rez players, drop siege, build siege, pick up bundles, and gather too, it’s always been this way. Also, for the person screaming exploit, give it a rest. the term is getting to be so overused and abused in game, it’s becoming meaningless. If that’s an exploit, let’s ban every Ele and Engi that gives a golem super speed. Let’s ban every Mesmer giving Alacrity to siege.

BTW, for how badly they nerf’d Golems with HoT, they deserve to be able to use banners. Besides just the damage output nerf, the F’n targeting system on an Omega can’t hit anything but, a stationary wall.

Theres a fix for this.

Remove the gimmicks from game as in remove banners and make them in game later with other non gimmick functionality…
