When you use a tonic in WvW, does your name still appear above your head to enemies? Or could you use tonics in fun ways to pretty much hide in plain sight?

I’ve been told your nameplate still appears. I’d love to see that change to more effectively hide you in WvW. It may be hell on the endemic population of critters, but it would add an interesting espionage element to things.

Your nameplate still shows, you cannot hide. I have followed a dolyak as a dolyak though and had ppl run right by me.

There are also some guilds that use ghost tonics to all look like ascalonian ghosts. It makes it tough to tell what prof they are when they do that.

Those AC ghosts tonics are fun.

I have a ton of tonics that I use in WvW.

Why? Because sometimes we all need to just relax and have fun.

You’ll need to be at a large distance for your nameplate not to display, other than that yes, everyone can see that it’s you.

You should have been there on reset. Cant remember which guild it was but their entire zerg was ghosts for the entire night lol.
