Our little small man roaming guild has also switched to using a condi heal ele for our 5 man , I like your take on the build and to see it working well in action

What are you guys thoughts on the build? do u think it would work well vs zergs outnumbered? Does investing in condition damage instead of healing power and tankiness feel worth it?

@VciouSidewinder It depends on what exactly you mean by outnumbered vs. zerg, or rather numbers and odds you’re thinking, how big your own group is and what other classes/builds you’re running. I’ve only ever done small scale roaming so can’t say in the case of smaller zerg vs large zerg.
I’d say it works well as long as the enemy doesn’t have a lot of resistance and aoe condi cleanses. Otherwise you’re going to have a hard time unless the rest of your team can make up for it in power damage.
I personally like having high toughness and some healing power (though too much of it can be overkill). It helps and the build isn’t made to be the main damage dealer (at least not in our team).
The damage output is rather bursty (if you can get it off). With fire it’s largely dependend on your enemy standing still (or being stunned/immobilised etc) to get off a full rotation since especially fire 2 is very slow and fire 5 is easy to step out of. So you won’t always be able to push out max damage and are often left trying to kill someone with your fire auto especially high mobility classes (which if they’re not entirely dumb or are being pressure by someone else is just not enough to kill them. Maybe if they’re really squishy and have no condi cleanse whatsoever.).
But it probably here too depends on the rest of your team comp and and size vs size of the enemy zerg.
So what the build excels at is pretty much having a lot of aoe condi pressure and sustained healing/protection/aura’s to allies as opposed to the burst healing you can get from druid for example.
Plus one of the biggest problem in most outnumbered fights is actually keeping downed people down and finishing them. The build is pretty decent at that.
