Last night I took out my newly created Necromancer (level 8 when I started) and met up with the guys for a night of fun in WvW. This video obviously isn’t to demonstrate my skill, as half of the video I’m dead and part of the video I’m just walking around recording for the sake of making a video to showcase Kaineng having fun.
In the beginning of the video, everything was chaos. A lot of people were in Lion’s Arch right before the reset yelling to go to SM. Since most of the guild wasn’t on yet, we thought we’d hop over and assist. Turns out, after we got inside the first wall, people decided we didn’t really want SM after all. The place looks like a nightmare to keep clean. So we improvised. There was no “plan” here. No leader. It was just mob mentality. It turned into the weirdest Stonemist raid I’ve ever been a part of, but it was had us all laughing on voice chat so it was worth it.
After this we all headed back over to Kaineng BL.
This is how we roll on Kaineng. It’s not always pretty, but it’s almost always a good time.
BTW: We hit our first legit queue last night in KBL for a short while during peak that lasted nearly an hour. We still have THREE more zones to play in. Hint hint.
For the good of the server (ok, let’s be honest, they bribed me with cheesecake) my guild RAWR (formely Nuke) recently merged into Warsworn [WAR]. This was our first night out together as a guild since the merger started Thursday night. The video consists mostly of our alliance members [WAR] and [iSPY], as well as [RMA], a new guild from Brazil, who we teamed up with for most of the night.
There are however a lot of guilds and individuals that showed up to help the efforts. Too many to name separately, but thank you all for a fun time. I saw a lot of great teamwork last night.
For the new faces out there, I run a blog called The Kaineng War Report. http://kaineng.tumblr.com We are currently restructuring our communication as a server.
LaZy, one of the guilds on Kaineng that used to run our voice communications and web servers is moving for PVE reasons (Kaineng has a very tiny PVE community in the higher levels, making it difficult to gear up efficiently in the end-game). I wanted to thank them for their efforts on Kaineng, and wish them good luck where ever they end up.
If any guilds out there are interested in strengthening our communication and bettering our team work, send me a message with your guild contacts. We have a growing network of guilds willing to work together, and we don’t require anyone to leave their guild, their existing alliances, or their voice chat servers. We do however provide a voice server option for those that want to use it.
It is our opinion that no one guild on the server is better than another, and no guild is more important than the community. We look to work together, having every guild feel like they are a part of the team regardless of their size, levels, or experience.
I will have more “official” info soon, but think of this more as a NETWORK than an alliance as some people already have alliances and are reluctant to change, and that’s OK. If we all know who the leaders are, it’s easier to ask each other for or share information with other leaders and let them spread the info through their guilds as needed. If we have that in place, using /map to relay updates is a lot easier as people generally know who they should be assisting, and it helps those of us not in the loop out as well.
Also if you are 18+, a team player, don’t take yourself too seriously, and looking to join a group of WvW nuts who rarely know what we’re doing but are having fun doing it… Warsworn [WAR] might be for you. Send me a message and a gift certificate to your favorite restaurant, and I’ll hook you up with an invite.
For less than a cup of coffee per day… err, nm. Just message me.
