I dont know is it an exploit or a hack, but its very annoying.
This morning its happened 2 times. I made an 1v1 first with a warrior, after that a guardian and when i started to stomp them they vanished… No xp, no loot, no stack, kill or anything.
Anybody knows how is it possible? I see this nearly every day

They probably just quit the game…

If you are very lucky and your queue pops while you are downed you can just click the "Travel’ button and simply “vanish” without giving your enemies any loots ^.^

You sure? Never knew this.

Yeah if you quit while downed you’re automatically defeated. When you log back in you’ll find yourself taking a dirt nap at the place you first entered WvW from.

That’s not true, you get to travel through time and space without a scratch. You’ll arrive to your destination in one piece instead of being a bloody pancake on the ground.

Yesterday we made some experimente in obsidian s with my friend: alt f4: body dissapear, loot, xp, everything
Unplug the internet: your character stay in but not moving. Give loot, everything
Character select: same as alt f4
Change map: no loot or anything
I still think some players exploit this or using a bug, maybe cheat somehow

I hope it is a bug. If someone is actually using a hack or an exploit to prevent whoever killed them from getting a scrap of leather, that is probably the most pathetic thing I ever heard.

Old times nearly every roamer pressed alt+f4 but anet patched it. Now this happens again but not that often but still annoying.

I have heard it is going into a pvp match, but I do not know that for sure….
