Guild Wars 2

A few clips from the opening weekend of Dragonbrand’s matchup in Tier 4 against Ehmry Bay and Yak’s Bend. After the beatdown we took opening night, Dragonbrand retaliates and holds the line against waves and waves of Yak’s Bend from both entrances at Bluevale on Dragonbrand’s Borderland. What was supposed to be a routine flip to slow down the siege YB, we somehow held the camp longer than we should have. Enjoy!

Heya EA. EB guy here from [BP]. Was standing around watching some of your folks attempt to kill a P/D Thief from Yak’s [KR] last night south of bay in Yak’s. Good times. Good times. Couldn’t get close to taking him out myself. Tried multiple times, multiple nights. Apparently your guild group + didn’t have any luck either.

Anyways… Looking forward to the reset tonight. I’d ask, though, that you guys let us EB folks have the Klovan tower in Eternal at some point this weekend if you don’t mind. It’s my very last POI in WvW but I can’t seem to get it. Thanks in advance! <3

Pretty sick video. YB player here, I remember that Bluevale fight. Our zerg was pushing Bay hard and I kept asking myself “how are they still holding that vale?!?” we kept trying to hit from both sides but kept running into a brick wall of DB. We thought you had siege, but apprently (according to the video at least) you had 1 ballista….unmanned. Was fun anyway

Kudos to the DB defenders at that fight, you did indeed hold it for longer than you should have. Won’t be so lucky next time around. See you at reset!!

Yeah, lol. I heard some guildmates talking about that thief and asked how many people were chasing him. I think 4 were on him at the time and he was perma stealthing so much that no one could pin him down. So i ran in and waited for him to show his face. 1 Rapid Fire chain and he was dead. In case people don’t already know, it follows them even after they go invisible and I kill tons of thieves with a Hunters call, Rapid fire combo, that they cant invis away from He ended up dead on the shores north of the tower at least.

Here’s me wishing I had a similar ability. :P

Nicely done! Myself and the other person standing next to me just stood up by the keep and watched the show since we already had our fill of that guy. Besides, we weren’t going to go too far out to see the end because your folks kept eyeballing us like fresh steaks. O.O

I was hoping someone FRAPSed that battle at Bluevale. That was an excellent fight.

That Bluevale fight sure was crazy. I ran in there hoping that we’d be able to hold out for 10 or 15 seconds, but we lasted a little while longer.
