3. Sharing general thoughts:
My thoughts for warrior (or in general):
Sinister: more upfront burst damage. More likely to cause panic on enemies and make them clear/resistance at start of fight allowing for quicker conclusion. Less damage total though, since condi duration is king when not cleared. Better for clearing downed enemies I would assume….honestly I have a hard time condi damaging a downed enemy to death esp when they have an ally to stealth/heal.

Viper: More power than sinister. Less precision than sinister but power is greater than precision for warriors anyways. Will do better power based damage. Will do more condi based damage against pve enemies that can’t clear. I deal alot of types of condi (poison,bleed,fire,confusion,weakness,cripple, immobilize then a blind or torment), and often they alll stack at the same time……so having longer duration will mean being able to build more and more conditions onto a foe making it so they can’t clear them all, and/or making it so they outlast resistance uptime. Enables better control and cc effects (6-7s immobilize, longer cripples)
People can just clear 1 second after application though…..so sinister would do more condi damage by that standard.
Also the condi difference between sinister and viper isn’t that much….its like 175 points or so. Is 175 really gonna make a huge difference? I can tell you that 175 power difference isn’t worth worrying about if it means you have more utility.
They are hot damage stats…….that alone generally tells you they are overpowered. Sinister are special stats tho so its kinda give and take prolly. Also you can argue that in fights some1 will proc their resistance/clears the same regardless of whether ur run sinister or viper……and most people run heal spam, so their heals overcompensate. You can argue its Better to have more control over a fight than do slightly more powerful strikes….those heals will treat the damage types the same regardless in many cases. So if its a case of outlasting the heals and clears/resistance….then condi duration is obviously the better choice.
IN pvp people run vipers not sinister…..so there’s THAT too in favour of viper.
The name sounds friggin cool, thats also a plus.

Stack up +% condition duration with food and utility for 30%,
King of fires, 33% burning
Decide rune set
Decide on sigils
Cap burning with viper’s
Fill rest with sinister/dire, you are probably going to want 300 vita/toughness.
