A real life hero would give us more information.
What are you expecting? The error code? Something bugged, they’re looking for the bug.
Don’t shoot the messenger…
There’s probably nothing else they can report.
Don’t worry edge of the mist is up.
STILL BROKE CAN’T GET IN TO BLUE
I had some hope this delay meant new match ups, but yet again same thing over, and over
An ETA
that is a ridiculous request. if it took longer than the eta to fix the issue you would probably be here complaining some more.
This has been resolved.
Sorry, we disabled a few too many servers, and when the reset hit, most people had nowhere to go as we are hitting peak time in NA. Fixed by re-enabling some hardware.

No, it wasn’t. We were disconnected all night long.
Some of us were in large groups and we were disconnected all night long.
Most guilds gave up after being disconnected.
WvW is suffering and Anet isn’t telling us from what it is suffering from.

I’m thinking we should be asking why servers were disabled, but I know we won’t get an answer to that. Were they downsizing the server farms or something like switch hardware, but why do that on a friday.

Still having problems here on the west coast. Multiple crashes, etc…..ran -repair program….still same issue. And WvW is lagging something horrible….can’t even get off simple commands. That doesn’t usually happen to me even in big zerg fights.

I’d like to know that too. Downsizing is a sure sign of game death.
Whatever the case, the lag was real in wvw tonight. My guildies and I, who are based in different states, all had lag. I rarely lag in gw2.

Despite the doomsday posters saying that servers being taken down is a sure sign of the death of this game.(How long has that been predicted by you yahoos, anyways? 3 years now??)
Sounds to me like it just might be a maintenance issue and they just simply took too much hardware down. Although, you would think it would be fixed by now.
But heck, I have been in older mmorpgs years ago where there would be outages for 2-4 days with no response from the game makers….Anet is usually pretty quick with getting these problems fixed.

Which games are those? usually when there’s an outage like it’s because of hardware failure.

Please see this thread for information about some technical issues that may be part of what you were experiencing over the last few days. As two members of the technical team reported, the issue specific to WvW was addressed on Friday night. Connectivity issues have been occuring since then, we know, and we are continuing to investigate them. You can provide some specific info in the linked thread that may help us resolve these intermittent issues more quickly.
