Can we please have a que time or place in que OR even an indicator as to which que you are in? In fact, just anything other than what we have now. Waiting an hour something without any type of counter or number dumb.

They can’t implement a counter or timer with the current queue system because it’s not first come first serve, it’s a lottery system.

It is not supposed to be a ‘lottery’ but people have been spreading that around as fact when they see their friends get in before them. Last I read Anet was looking into that issue.

Well that would be rad if they would look into it. I que and wait for an hour an a half and my guild mate gets in within 10 minutes.

Yeah, that was the same ArenaNet post that stated that you can’t queue for more than one WvW map at a time, which has also been proven false. The players know the game and their systems better than they do. Also, that statement is almost a month old, so they must be looking into it extremely hard.

Yes, I’m being facetious, but if the queue has been ‘bugged’ like this since launch, why would anyone assume that it’s not a lottery system when that’s how it’s been working?

Its terrible right now! Haven’t seen a wvwvw queue pop since very late thursday night est. Spent over 4hrs in queue last night and hitting the 3 1/2 hr point right, yep gotta love Waitwars, just wait for hours and never get to play or abandon the server and guild I have been on since launch or play on a lower pop server by myself, two very crappy options.

I was able to que for EB while in BB and it popped. That was a few days ago.

I’ve personally queued for two maps, gotten into one, then gotten a pop for the next without requeuing for any other map. There might be an order of precedence but the bottom line is that you can indeed queue for two maps.

Last time they commented on it was like a month ago, at which point they were “looking into it”.

I don’t really see how hard it is to count. Keep track of who hits the “queue” button first…and make a list. When space opens up, let the first person in etc… etc… It seems rather basic. It’s just a list.

How MAJOR issues like this haven’t gotten fixed is beyond me. I have to wonder if this would be the case if we were paying monthly. I know they claim they still have a larger team than most P2P MMO’s, but I just don’t see the results of that team.

You can always queue for another borderlands/EB while already in a borderland/EB. The post by Anet referred to queuing for 2 things at once would actually only put you in the queue for the last thing you queued for. You would not be in a queue for both things.

Sum the ASCII values for each character in your name and then take that value modulo 100. This is your priority in the queue.

Like I said, I queued for two maps at once. I got a pop for one, accepted it, and then 15 or so minutes later I got a pop for the second one I queued for. I did not requeue for one while in WvW. Both pops were from queuing at the same time.
