I love playing wvw and especially enjoy zerging, my problem is that my peak play time is 0700-1200 eastern time, as many of you know that is a time when most servers are dead. My question is would I benefit from a transfer a server such as Maguuma, JQ, or BG (provided they are open)? I am currently in SBI and I love the people and the guilds, but a rarely get to play at that servers peak time.

JQ you got cloudfly who pugmands and has alot of ppl following him.
Last time i fought Mag, well.. Let’s say that for days i couldn’t go to EBG cause made it their Home Bl haha
BG i can’t say, didnt fight them yet, but i think the way i know you, you’ll enjoy JQ go for it!

Edit: Keep in mind that playing at those hours, you won’t see big fights like you would on a NA prime reset or something.. Depending on who JQ is matched up will define the type of fights you’ll have. But JQ will almost always have the upper hand in that timezone (someone correct me if im wrong)

0700-1200 is morning?
0700 – 0900 usually is ocx
0900 – 1200 usually is sea

is sbi really that bad at those timing?

Mon-Fri i often find the population to be on the low side. I am looking for larger scale combat, 20-25+. I know I may be a little picky on what I am looking for but I feel i would have a greater chance on a larger server finding the fights i want

Yup, higher you go on the tiers, better coverage overall. SoS does have a good OCX with SALT, but we used to always get ""rolled" over agaisnt Mag/JQ blobs most of the time

I wonder if I could get the perspective of someone who is currently from mag, seeing as they are open for transfer at this time.

that is normal, mon-fri are the days majority are the native timezone players, particularly ppl from sea and ocx, only in weekends you will see early birds na players.

it will be hard to find what you want
if you choose the populated ones, then you will end up with one-sided fights as the population accumulate.
if you choose the not that populated ones, then it isn’t a consistent population and not that populated ones are usually hard carried by regular pugmander (one and only one) as if there is commander, zerg will then form eventually.

for sea, i ahve since not pugmand for 5 mths, so pretty much that’s that
for ocx, we dun hav regular tag daily anymore as well
still, we do have tags on weekdays when the guilds do their scheduled runs

I don’t think Maguuma has anyone during OCX or SEA times. Most of their population is in NA Prime. Look at their income evolution during those times in their match right now.

SoX runs in ocx but only 3 nights a week now.

Silly question maybe, but if you are playing at those hours, wouldn’t it be better if you were on an EU rather then NA server ?

As long as you remain here you will always have this issue, the overstacked servers full because overstacked, you can join whomever goes up against them just to get rolled by them repeatedly in those timezones and that is only fun for so long.

You can stay where you are or join another server in that neck of the woods, but that won’t solve your issue at all.

So why not just go to where there are more people in general playing at same time as you do ?

Its all about the server you choose. You just need to choose an EU server (there is an option to look at EU servers).

Depends on the EU server too. A lot of my EU friends start running around 11am your time (because that is after work and dinner). As noted above, moving to EU is super easy. Just change your selector to EU servers.

JQ is a bit trolly with a lot of good players who don’t communicate. That last part is a move buster.
