I took a hiatus from GW2 and when I came back WXP was implemented. I thought cool that sounds like a neat system. It is easy to aquire just by playing and it gives you a fe interesting options with siege equipment and the reward chest for leveling up is nothing spectacular, but I am always looking forward to it.

The thing that you can’t reset you point is kind of meh, but I can live with it. What I really don’t like is that the progression is locked on a character and not to my account, so switching out characters is unnessessarly punishing.

Another thing that annoys me more than it should is that the WXP progression bar is split into 6. To level up you usually need 5000 points. 5000 devided by 6 are 833,33 points. That is an oddly unhelpful benchmark if you wanna no how long it will take to fill up the next bar. a split by 4, 5 or 10 would be far more helpful. 6 is just odd.

What I want to know is: how are the 6 sections actually divided? What is each section’s true value? They clearly cannot be evenly split (5000/6 = repeating decimal). It makes my eye twitch.

I agree with and support the OP.
