So, you will need to log into every character on your account that has earned WXP to have their WXP total added to your account total.

However, when I just logged on on my highest character, the WXP had already been added, also, it was far less than it should be.

Is anyone else having this problem or am I remembering the incorrect amounts?

I feel like this is an issue for me. My alts were mostly levels 1-10 so I know it’s not much xp but I’m 90% sure that bar didn’t move after I logged in on my main.

dunno, but log into all characters and from what i understand the XP has been added together not the ranks.

I didn’t have to log into mine. The first character I sent into WvW added all my ranks in 1 shot.

It all got added at once, so no it doesn’t increase when loggin on alts.

If it seems slightly off, keep in mind the total is wxp earned, not levels earned.
10 characters at level 5 will not equal 50 wxp levels as many of the first few levels are very fast and easy to get.
10 characters at level 5 is more likely 10-15 wxp levels.

I had my main over level 750 (maybe 770), and my 7 alts at somewhat level 40, and ended up with 1045 levels or so, so it looks all right.
Do not hesitate to contact support if you are under the impression things didn’t get properly added, but remember that WxP (and not ranks) were added, and that the first ranks are lower in WxP than ranks after 5, so try counting one rank for the 5 first ranks (so rank 10 would be = to 6 ranks, rank 50, = to 46 ranks and so on) before sending a ticket…

I can confirm this. I have less levels on my account than had on my main. Only SPENT skill points seemed to have added, not the unspent ones.

If anyone read the patch notes:
“All spent World Ability Points have been refunded to all characters.”

So it’s looks like you had to spend them… which is kinda sad. Some sort of warning would have been nice.

They merged WXP not WAP. Its does not matter if you have all your points spent or not. WAP is dependant on WXP.

Looks right to me. I’m not even sure how only “spent” skill points being added could happen from a data standpoint.

Especially considering I have a ranger that hasn’t been in WvW in months but had around 60 ranks from being my original main. I never redistributed the wxp ranks when they reset for the season and I know I didn’t lose those 60 levels.

I think I have an answer now.

The first 4 ranks in wvw are obtained with 1000 wxp each. lvl 5 and onward are 5000 wxp each and do not increase.

The first 4 ranks of each alt do not even add up to 1 more rank.

If you had 4 alts, 16 of they ranks they had were instead combined into 3 ranks and 1000 extra wxp and added to your main.

So adding all your WvW Ability Points and subtracting 13 is the number you should be seeing.

Mine seems to be lower than I expected as well. I play WvW a lot and I seriously thought I had more WXP than what I was given. I had about 3-4 characters with about 50 Rank on each and another one with about 100, but I only got Rank 138? What?

I had 6 characters with ranks 676, 115, 70, 26, 31, and 6. Each with some amount of sub-rank (0-5000) XP. I used a spreadsheet to keep track of the ranks and predict the account rank. The predicted rank was 906, and the rank that was given after the patch was 906. No problems here.

I’m sure all my characters were only ranked up to my highest characters rank. I didnt take good note of everything which is stupid as Anet and all the MMOs make mistakes regularly but Im pretty sure. I was expecting to be in the 70s.

One poster here did keep a tally of his ranks but he also had the problem with all his toons just being raised to the rank of his highest toon and no accumulation:

Same issue here. Had 941 on main and 100+ on a few others. All characters show 941.

Had this issue happen to a friend. I’ll go ask how many alts he had.
