I understand Anet has an update coming in Feb for WvW but this exploit or hack or whatever… is outrages. Screenshots of it where shown yet players from the server desolation got ignored some even punished for showing this issue to the community. The hard work players from Desolation put into installing siege, upgrading and defending was lost in seconds.

I am not going to point fingers at guilds or servers that were abusing this “issue”… I have always enjoyed wvw and respected my enemies and allies alike. Loved the fights vs Arborstone, Vizunah, Seafarers Reach, Elona Reach, Blacktide and every other server me and my server have faced. In fact I would have made this post if I noticed this was done to the 3rd server in our match up… if it didn’t already…

Since wvw was not yet shut down I am concerned not about the people abusing this “issue” because I am sure people doing this will get banned. Yet WvW did not yet shut down so that means this problem is still there…

Q: How long will it take Anet to fix this and will it be before the feb WvW update?

It’s not just glitching through doors and walls, but also an increasing number of people are using a known speed/flyhacking program.

With these kinds of programs they can run around the maps at ridiculous speeds, ignore walls, fly up into the air and apparently even teleporting directly to specific locations.

Something has to be done!! Hackers/exploiters seem to have free reign and the people that bring it to ANet’s attention get infracted by overzealous moderators for ‘server assassination’.
