If an warrior use revenge before you finish it, no loot , no xp , no rally
I do not feel like i have any advantage as an warrior to deny my enemy badge of honor or 300 xp, but
Warrior killed on revenge don’t give at any point the xp/loot , it should be changed in my opinion.
and for warrior vs warrior :
warrior 1 fight vs warrior 2, warrior 1 -2000 hp left /warrior 2 downed.
warrior 2 get warrior 1 downed with 2 attacks , then use revenge. Warrior 1 is forced to use revenge and die as well (cause they cannot rally on eachother). So is a draw ?

It was be a bug; does this happen with ele’s mist form as well?

Ele mist form is differente because when it is finished the Ele is on downed state again… the warrior is dead when Revenge ends, but I really never paid attention to the fact that Warriors on Revenge never give loot or experience.

Yeah, I don’t know about the loot or experience part while in revenge. However, there is a trait where you have the chance to revive completely out of revenge on a kill. I believe there is also a bug to reinstate yourself after a kill in revenge without the trait (happened to me before, but not very often). Not sure if that is intended as well, but that’s the difference between it and mist form.

warrior should give the loot and experience at some point, either when revenge end , or when he enter on revenge
and that is because they changed rally : no experience -no rally- warrior can deny everything , i even wonder if you get kill point, didn’t checked it

it is supposed to happen occasionally without the trait, but its like not a 50% chance, definitly lower than that.

I get loot after revenge ends. You don’t get loot every time, like with any other kill, but it still happens.

And is someone actually worrying about kill exp in wvw?

Warriors who die after Revenge give loot and experience, and do count for the WvW kills title. I can corroborate this both as a Warrior and fighting against other Warriors. Furthermore, a Warrior can rally on other kills mid-Vengeance, and can rally others if he dies from Vengeance. I have seen both instances happen many, many times.

Can definitely say I haven’t been getting loot or xp from warriors using revenge for some time now. Don’t remember if that’s always been the case, but it certainly has been recently.

Are you sure that you’re properly tagging them? I got loot and experience from one last night, but it may be because I was attacking it the whole time (before and after vengeance was activated). It’s possible that only tagging it before the Vengeance doesn’t reward loot if it dies while in Vengeance, but that’d require some more testing. When I get home tonight I’ll see if I can’t firewash some Warriors and find out.

I’ve had this happen every time a warrior goes into the water (really the only place you can’t prevent vengeance). No xp or loot… I usually just walk away for vengeance though, so it’s possible it’s an issue with having to tag a warrior in vengeance even if you solo kill them before that. Not a huge deal for me though… not like I need anymore badges.

Can attest to this also. 1 v 1 on a warrior by a supply camp today, he died, revenged, no loot, no xp, nothing for the trouble it took to kill him. There was no water around and all the fight was thus on land.
