What makes you think there are no GMs there?

If people actually do report them with proof they will get punished, but without proof there is not much Anet can do.

Speakin’ of Moderation, we really need some GMs on all the WvW,
I’m from Jade Sea, and we are facing some strange things comming from Elona Bief.

They can destroy all our defense weapons, if your weapon is not targetable, the will target it and destroy it, the weapon is far from them? no problem they will get it, we can’t understand, some people are talking about a " Dezoomer" who will allow them to see and target whant we can’t see and target.

we really need to face fair players, i’m not saying that ALL the guys from Elona are cheating, but we are quite curious to see how do they do that without a log ou someting.

This..make it happen Anet.It worked in GW1,GW2 needs it even more.

TC needs attention too.

There is one particular bot that everyone I know has reported over the last 2-3 months and is still there. We’ve reported with every possible means we could think of: ingame report, exploit@ANet, ANet’s Support, forum threads, mail to Devs, etc. None of it has worked. I’m pretty sure that ANet has nothing in place to deal with banning for this behavior and thus the grief goes ignored.

Just last night we had a particular guild swap maps and jump all golems off cliffs to kill them. We’ve reported them too but doubt anything will change.

Yes,Lordkrall…we all know by now you are fanboy number 1,and there is no negative thing to be found in this game, according to you.
I have been reporting a cheater/hacker from day 1,with screens and thus proof,geuss what?
He still runs around,cheating and hacking.
Numerous other people did the same,with other cheaters and hackers,nothing happend.
Market manipulators on the other hand,they get banned by the dozen,because that is hurting Anet`s cashflow.
Think about that Lordkrall,and if you are thinking about replying with yet another fanboy number 1 remark,please don’t,it`s getting boring and old.

It would take me all of 10 minutes to find, download and install a hack that would allow me to zoom out further then otherwise possible, port all over the map, climb walls, defy gravity, fly and walk through walls. It is being used, it is quite easily spotted in the game from farming nodes to destroying siege in WvW to gaining map completion while you go have lunch. The latest release advertises that it is “undetectable” and with the number of reports, sightings and instances in game that are impossible under normal gameplay situations I have to wonder if ANET can detect it.

Example. Two days ago while the wife and myself were levelling alts in Dredgehaunt Cliffs we witnessed 2 people drop from the sky onto a point of interest and then immediately vanish. ANET does not seem to have the capability of detecting when packets are being intercepted and altered to allow such cheats, they are relying on people to report hackers then have to go through a long drawn out process to catch them.

There has to be a better way ANET.

A few years ago, just for kittens and giggles, I did some web searching for information regarding the behavior of cheating. The list of reasons is pretty long, but the ones particularly relevant to online gaming are:

o anonymity … people are more likely to cheat if they don’t think they can be seen

o it doesn’t matter … people are more likely to cheat if they think that the result of their cheating isn’t causing anyone real harm

o the challenge and thrill of being able to get away with it … cheating becomes almost like a contest within a contest

o no penalties … some people are willing to do almost anything if there aren’t any repercussions

o the perception that everyone else is doing it anyway … people are way more likely to cheat if they think they need to do so to avoid an undue disadvantage

The last two are particularly relevant here. The more that ANet is unable or unwilling to police their own game the more of this crap we are going to see.

Lately, there are people griefing Sea of Sorrows WvW. They are putting excessive amounts of siege weapons especially in Eternal Battlegrounds inside SoS keep.

We are having that same problem on TC too.

We posted about it in the forums, we reported him, we sent screenshots and videos… ANet never did anything about this person, ever. Last week he was just there doing it again.

We even had a guy that jumps into a golem, jumps of a cliff to die and destroy the golem, gets into the next golem, kills that too and so on. Reportd this guys too. No reaction from ANet at all. None. Nada. Zilch.

Maybe they will listen to a T1 server and do something about this kind of people.

GMs in WvW? There arent even GMs in PvE! At least not to my knowledge. I dont think GW2 has the tools to support it. If they do, they’re hiding it well.

Jade Sea.

Mesmer Greatsword 1 and Elementalist Scepter Air 1 skills are both bugged atm. They are suppose to do direct damage but are presently doing AoE damage. Both skills are able to kill siege through walls without targetting as long as the view is not obstructed.

So several servers suffering from extreme siege griefing this weekend, due to the free trials no doubt. Some sad people on opposing sides creating new free accounts and griefing for hours.

Does make you wonder how sad that individual is, and hopefull he wasnt commanded by any guild or general server populace to do it, but ya never knows.

Piken Square couldn’t make a ram all night due to this. Some people from AR/BB were griefing.

All of these problems would be solved by removing the ridiculous AOE cap.

I don’t think they like to use their gm tags in wvw cause they are the first to die lol.

Happens in higher tiers all the time. I am surprised to hear that in tier 4 though.
