Alright Anet it’s time somebody spoke on behalf of all those who one day wish to become mighty fine Yakslappers like myself. I’ve been doing some research on the WvW achievement, “Yakslapper”(Slay 1,000,000 Supply Dolyaks inside WvW). I consider myself to play a lot of GuildWars 2, close to 10 hours a day. Of that 10 hours I play 9 of it inside WvW… I can average around 100 yaks a day. I find the fastest way is to Rotate two camps inside Borderlands and only killings yaks. It’s pretty glorious, However I think one milly is a bit much, as it would take close to 10 years at this rate. Seeing as you gave away free Dragon ranks to all those “Proud” Dragons in sPvP. Is it possible to maybe have that One Million Yaks tuned down to say.. 20,000 yaks? I saw sPvP’s Dragon rank to be something only a few would have. But since you gave it to them for free, I would like my Yaks too.

Ack, drawing the parallel between making sPvP ranks easier and not making moves on the impossible WvW ranks makes me angry!

You would have to kill 500 WvW Yaks a day, Every day for 10 years, and then you will have Yakslapper.

Awkward but I had totally forgotten about Devon Carter’s promise to fix the WvW achievements by 2013’s end.
Yea that is one achievement roamers/havoc group really want but will never get. Still wondering why the wvw base achievements are 5-10x the number of total needed for ultimate dominator. Its like the achievement were made under the idea of a karma train(PvE) perspective. I just hope this new living story season will focus mostly on wvw improvement instead of pve ones. Then again a majority of gw2 player base is pve.

I used to want the title when it was Ultimate Interceptor, but then they changed it to Yakslapper and I really do not like that title at all, currently at 16k yaks and even if they gave me the title tomorrow I wouldn’t use it.

Listen here Anet. I’ve been slappin’ Yaks ’round these parts since you were level 4 engineers. I want my Slapping to be heard of! Mae the achievement realistic. at this rate it would take 500 yaks a day every day, for the next 10 years in order to hit 1 million yaks.
I just don’t expect anything anymore. This is ridiculous, WvW “team”.
It use to be that in PvP to get dragon rank would take 2 years worth of playing (not too bad considering its highest rank in game), but now its only 3 months worth of PvP to get to dragon rank in PvP.
Also, adjusting the amount of yaks you have to kill is a huge deal in coding, you have no idea, so of course its going to take a few years worth of coding to make Yakslapper title more doable.
I think 3 months is a reasonable amount of time to achieve a top rank, achievement, or title. I WvW on a regular basis. Not 100% of the time but a fairly large amount of play time and I am only around 6k kills for Ultimate Dominator title. This is just one more item on the list that encourages people to zerg/blob and encourages people into EotM to achieve things quicker. Killing up-levels is much easier and its more of a wholesale slaughter. Ultimate Dominator is the only title in the game that i want to display. I refuse to display any other title. So EotM is where i have to go to speed things up. Even in EotM this title is still mostly out of reach.
