happens every tier, all the time, its nothing new. Back in the old t1 days, in SoR we were double teamed constantly by bg and jq for the beter part of a year. It sucks yea. And please dont act all innocent, YB turned back around and double teamed SoS with FA. Dont complain when it happens to you and stay silent when your doing it to someone else.

watching 2 enemy zergs pass by each other and not attacking, know how many times we saw that for a year lol. Hearing about them brag about it, it sucks it really does, not just when it happens to you, but when anyone engages in it. Really kills the competitive nature of wvw. It’s indicative a lot of things in wvw. Bascially nobody cares about being kittened as long as they are the ones doing the kittening. Just like how when they blob, it’s a skill group, and when they get blobbed, it’s a bunch of mindless zombies that they would easily beat had they not been playing with their cat on the keyboard.

This is hilarious. FA capped most of DBBL while DB was “helping” FA. FA and DB both wanted that keep and were trying to kill all the YB there before going after each other.
And it isn’t like this is anything YB doesn’t do with hitting another server when it is being attacked at the same time by the third server.

Op is so wrong….. There was a 2v1 for a very short time with some fa – SOS forces 2 WEEKS AGO…. Fa was barely on last week to 2 v 1 anyone (valid reasons – holidays)
Reset ebg we barely saw fa – we were both fighting db in different places. If anything db was the pita capping aldons and porting out when we came to fight…..
All I am going to say is that a few days ago, folks on FA were talking about being getting the 2v1 shaft from YB and DB with just a 35 PPT.
Like I said back then, I don’t think its a 2v1, at least not an organized one. I think its more that DB is trying to send a message that they want to be in T2 and stay in T2. They don’t want to be in T3 and think they are getting their message across very clear being a few hundred points behind YB. I applaud those guys for really getting after it this week.
OP, we will deal with it. Please close the topic as intentional/unintentional double teaming happens all the time for minutes/hours/days. It’s taking advantage of the server that is being attacked, not necessarily means there’s any alliance/communication between the opposing servers.
Be optimistic and look at the positive side. The points from PPK was AWESOME (not to mention the bags)

Ya I agree with you. When one server understands the map politics and helps another to focus the third, I call it an “opportunistic 2v1”, which I believe YB to be rather good at. But TBH why don’t DB players who want T2 just transfer to one of the pre-existing T2 servers rather than wait an eternity for glicko to adjust and destroy T3 in the meantime with this rotating nonsense? After all most of those NA players stacked onto DB from elsewhere without any server loyalty, intending to be carried by SEA guilds on DB that are known for ktraining and fairweathering when real competition shows up. Didn’t Season 2 and post-S2 give the correct example? Doesn’t sound stable to me.

Many players wants his/her server to rise instead of transferring around. There is nothing wrong in that. Server loyalty isn’t dead (certainly not on my server) contrary to what many believe.

In a few battles maybe they 2v1 yb, but what happens most of the times is yb+db focusing fa. I am in DB, and some guild leaders (including big ppt guilds) have a deal with yb to focus fa.

Yes, many players want his/her server to rise instead of transferring around. That doesn’t hold true for DB. A lot of their NA players transferred to DB (replacing guilds that had already left for T2 – you know BMO on YB originally came from EA on DB). If they wanted T2 action, why not just have transferred to a T2 server instead of stacking onto a T3 server?
I say this because I feel that the time on this game mode is running out faster now. There’s not much time remaining to be waiting for Glicko adjustments. It is no accident that the player base in general has been transferring up tiers and causing older lower tier servers like NSP to suddenly rise.

Lol – I do like it here, but really for those that never moved wasn’t server choice sort of random from the start? Mega server sort of destroyed real community in my opinion. Being a pvxer, server events in pve joined people together as much as wvw IMHO.
YB in gw1 was the first place post searing I enjoyed. I so wanted to go back to pre searing at first….. Since I went on to enjoy gw1 so much, YB server made sense to me. Just like I can see how fa – Jq had meaning to those that were heavy into those gw1 battlefields.
Edit: time to check on birthday presents for yucks (which were so much better in gw1)
