I guess they are called “Alpine Borderlands” , are they gonna be gone forever now or what? I only WvW, i never read much on here since they keep kittening up WvW and Thief lol.

is it only gonna be the new HoT WvW Map and EotM ?

kitten that sucks hard lol. I Hope it isn’t like EotM, cause that wasn’t well either. Spent like 10 minutes in there never went back in.

what about EBG? Will that be gone too?

new HoT desert borderlands x3, EB & EotM. ANET says they will rotate the Alpine Borderlands back in somehow someday which was left fairly vague. Most assume they hope to design a 3rd borderland map after awhile to have 3 unique maps or 3 possible maps to have 3 copies of. That should only take another year or so.

Alpine borderlands were horrible anyways. Too much open spaces.

The new BL-map is awful, feels like a EOTM + Dry Top remix. This map has the potential to kill the game for me. I think i will take a really long break.

As others have said the Alpine is gone for now. I was no big fan of that map but the new one is horrible. If I wanted long runs, PvE and gimmicks I would play PvE. Anet after all these years still doesn’t get WvW. Players want to fight… leave the PvE/Ktrain crap on EotM.
