I may or may not have been lead to believe there are armor/weapon sets exclusive to WvW (sans sPvP of course). Is this true?

There is grindable rewards from WvW which you buy with Honor Tokens or you can buy gear from the Karmar you gain.

No real reward though, once you have the gear thats it, you have now completed the game, grats you can stop playing.

Yes there is a set of armor/weapon that you buy by Honor Badges you gain at WvW ahh wait no… you get them by Jumping puzzles lol

Yes just like dungeons have their own exclusive armor and weapon sets.
WvW has their own exclusive armor and weapon sets which require badges of honor which drop from player kills or jumping puzzles
