Guild Wars 2

I have a pretty simple question. I’ve been enjoying WvW for awhile now as a Warrior but I find that they aren’t the best for roaming. I want to be useful by myself as well as in zergs. I want a class that can roam pretty effectively by themselves or in small groups. So far I’m deciding between either a Thief or a Elementalist. Any thoughts? Thanks in advanced!

I’m a thief so I’m biased but I think Thief is the way to go for roaming alone or with a few people, mostly alone. Stealth is almost a get out of fail free card once you learn the ins and outs of it; get in it to get out of it or to get back into it. You can either go Survival or Burst around the stealth thing, depending on your build, gear, and preference.

Those Elementalists seem to have better straight line zippy zappy tho. It seems to me they have more rawr zappy kaboom in a fight too. But I don’t know my EleFu, so meh.

This Mesmer spec is excellent for solo roaming and small group play, with its utility skills it also has great functionality in Zerg play.

With the gear you can also swap your spec for 3s and play glamour for large scale WvW but your solo roaming ability will diminish greatly IMO.

Ele is what you want. dd for roaming and then just equip staff for zergs

What Valik said. Thief and Ele are my main classes but i find ele more efective in wvw since is a good roaming class and also a great addition when it comes to large groups.
