What food do you, personally, usually run with in WvW, and what foods do you think are the best for it?

Sometimes I run with chips, sometimes with twinkies. It really depends on which server you’re on, if your server can field a big enough blob to cause skill lag you can usually eat anything you want, just steer with your mouse and bind one of your mouse buttons to staff #1 on guardian.

That question’s answer honestly depends on multiple variables.

1. What build I’m running
2. Solo/small-man vs. Zerg combat.
3. The skill of enemy combatants

In general, my condi-builds run with koi cake/tuning crystal, my defense or healer specs run with Lemongrass (to compliment their Superior Melandru setups). My Evasion Thief always runs with Lemongrass/Sharpening Stones … more power for killing, and some help on condi-clears, since folk can see her rolling up to gank ’em.

I think it is always a good choice to have multiple types of food in your bags depending on the type of situation you are in and your build (of course). I’m always popping diff foods when I change from zerging to roaming/running back to the zerg.

I had powered sugar cake donuts last night.

Pistachios still in the shell are hard to eat even during skill lag.

I use omnomberry compote with sigils of restoration. Combined the two are roughly 1.8k heal every kill, which happens a lot in zergs.

I play a guard and conditions haven’t been a big issue against me. If they were I’d probably be running lemongrass and melandru runes

You obviously run with Banana and Cookies.

Depends, i have mulplie food and utitlies depending on what im runnig. I like crit heal food and also power/perc food. Also like sharpening stones and matoils.

Hot Pockets and iced tea.

Mango pie pre-condi dominance because it was cheap and effective. Now hard to imagine not running lemongrass.

Depends.

Zerging around = life steal on crit. Compotes are completely outclassed and pointless IMO.

Smaller ops/roaming = lemongrass, mango pies. Depends on who I keep running into, condi or burst. Also, condi duration on necro.

Switch to Koi Cakes; They have the same exact stats and are a lot cheaper on the TP. The only downside is that they last 20 minutes instead of 30.

I run peach tarts at all times, lol, but I was thinking of changing up to food with more utility. I likes the shinies!

Loaves of Saffron Bread, that -20% damage while disabled has saved my bacon so many times.

Usually eat Dragonfly Cupcakes; will switch to Candied Dragon Rolls during fights.

Dragon buns and sharpening stones for my power necro. I find they can’t kill you as easily when they are dead.

Don’t run with food or stones/oil. And I don’t have a back item. Devon said it was supposed to be unbalanced so I just want to feel like the other team has the Bloodlust Buff even when they don’t.

Exactly my point.

Bloodlust = more bags for the dominant server

I use koi cake.

Delivery pizza and sit on a bucket if I wanted to replace all the exotic gear on all my toons and their builds with ascended

MF Food. Does that makes me a bad person?

I use no food. Unless someone put one in the floor. Still win 9 of 10 fights, in a zerg or not.

The best is (don’t remember name) the one that gives similar effect as Melandru runes.
