I just came back from a break from GW2, can anyone be kind enough to tell me why my home server can’t put up a half decent fight against SBI and Maguuma?

It seems like many of DB guilds went for greener pastures.

They have tried to hijack hod.

There were 4 T2 servers (current T2 + DB). All tried to stay in T2 and received transfers. Then DB hit full status lol. Most guilds left and a lot of them went to HoD.

It looks like DB is unlikely to recover either. It appears a lot of PvE players choose the server for it’s ‘cool’ name, making recruiting of WvW guilds to the server a nigh on impossibility.

If you’re big on WvW you can chose to either ride out the glide down and see where the server settles, or switch servers.

I’d venture to guess that DB will settle around T4, maybe top of T5. Some major guilds left and if I’m not mistaken TFV and NNK were two of those guilds which basically carried DB’s sorry as_es for years. Not that DB is a bad server but… Those guilds did a lot for DB, it’s going to hurt to lose them.

And as others have said, a lot of guilds went to Henge Of Brand. TFV to Tarnished Coast I think.

So yeah DB is going to get steam rolled for a while until they settle in a tier that they can handle.

This exactly the reason the guild I was in went to DB. They had decided pre launch of gw2 to go to DB for the cool name. And yeah they are pve 99%

That really not fair to say that NA guilds were bad, DB couldnt get the NA coverage because of PVE bloat. No new WvW guilds could come into DB. During time of day NA did have coverage we did well. Of course not now though. Also the SEA guilds didnt have as much opposition during their coverage times.

its a curse they will suffer forever
