Well i was really shocked by the little amount of Players in WvW recently and today a friend told me my Server isnt just playing anymore WvW and i was like O wtf? Has anyone further information?

Why anybody would play WvW now? I probably play WvW after i have made legendary armor.

Servers with the most PvX casuals and population coverage will be hit the hardest by HoT in WvW initially. Its not really a mystery.

Not true, FSP has a large hardcore wvw population and it’s dead this week.

sfr got destroyed few months ago by deso+fsp , and bandwagoners started to leave server , end of story.

and yes fsp is pretty dead after expansion

fsp is literally the 3rd best server according to leaderboard on wvw. and you say they have mostly casual ppl? ok whatever you say"

Some people started to write goodbye posts on the server forums, and that they were jumping over to other servers (like Desolation/Far Shiverpeaks) and people started to call them bandwagoners since SFR just lost to them.

We don’t really have active commanders at all times anymore, plus that people are doing expansion content now, so SFR is a sinking ship.

Maybe it’s time for the seafarers to get their rest.

SfR will probably be an endless cycle of good guilds building up the server to have fun, bandwagoners joining the server keeping it up top, guilds leaving because of the endless blob fights, bandwagoners leaving because they don’t win anymore and guilds returning.

afaik this is the 3rd time sfr goes down now. We will see what future brings.
