stability was an intensity-stacking buff, only preventing the next incoming CC for each stack?

Just a thought coming to my mind when seeing meleetrains simply running through serveral wards and static fields. Of course durations/CDs would have to be adjusted, different skills should apply different numbers of stacks etc. They could give more classes access to (little) stability. It would make a good finisher effect too, in my opinion.
Total unlimited (in CC preventions, not in duration) immunity is… just not that interesting to play with/against, you get stability and just don’t care about CC anymore. With all the other boons applied in large scale, boon remove is hardly able to counter it efficiently while it makes a large chunk of CC practically useless.

So one tick of Static Field would knock one point off of stability? Assuming that you could only apply one stack at a time, like one guardian could use his shout to put one stack on five people, that would instantly make eles and other classes with ground targeted sustained CC very op.

Maybe not one ele, but think about a group with 20 eles, they’d be instantly able to stop an unlimited amount of people in their tracks.

Not one stack. Intensity-stacking, just like might with shorter duration. So up to 20-25 stacks. Also, stability granting skills should then give more than 1 stack of it.

What is wrong with stability? Strip it off your opponent if you don’t like it.

Well its quite clear that Batman will be on a low pop server since he want to be alone and seems to be quite happy to go one on one with villains, while Superman will be on a high pop server because he need a ton of people around him just so they can die in over-extravagant battles.

Like if Batman took Stonemist, he’d just sneak in and beat the Lord to a bloody pulp, while proclaiming he’s Batman. If Superman took Stonemist, the entire server would be a smoldering ruin.

So basically make us all champion bosses without the unshakable buff :P? It would become a race to keep up CCs with stability stacks. It’s an interesting idea, I dont’ see any problems with it. But I don’t have any problems with the current system either.
