Hey all,

I have a simple question, and I apologize if it has been answered on the forums before. Here it is- When you WvW, you used to get some great boosts to XP (not WvW XP) and I see them come up in yellow text with the bonuses. Where does this XP go? It does not seem to help my mastery tracks which is rather odd. Thanks for any insight. If the XP is just lost, this seems rather, um…..stupid.

Mastery is from pve only.

Speaking as a player who mostly wuvs, I would like some kind of way to get mastery XP from wuv. For example, have the vendor that sells the hero point item give a mastery XP item as well. It doesn’t have to give a huge amount of mastery XP, just some.

I don’t want to have to do things I don’t like (like map completion or that CoF mastery XP farm thing) to access the expansion stuff. Let me get it through wuv somehow, even if it’s slower.

You can’t use any of the mastery stuff in wvw.

The boost you get conts for “XP in any gametype”, that means for wxp too. But i agree. It is a pain, to see all those yellow xp go to nowhere. I would be fine with just removing xp gain after lvl 80 in wvw, but just seeing them wastet while you starve for xp for the masterys is badly designt.

You mean the new legendary weapons won’t be allowed in WvW? I can go along with needing to obtain ingredients for a legendary weapon in all aspects of the game, but why not allow WvW players to generate EXP for that mastery in WvW?

I’ve never heard a good reason for this.

Right now the XP earned in WvW disappears. This really needs to be dealt with.
