Q:
What is the current cap for wvw queue?
That’s the million dollar question right there.
I’m estimating around 40-50 (from what I’ve seen)

Nah it’s about 60. We did a supply count and had 54 on tag.
I think it should be around 85 since the cap was lowered by 15% and before it seemed to hold around 100 people of a single server.

Cap is normally 133 if I remember correctly but I also vaguely remember there being info on how siege takes up player slots, might be mistaken on the second bit lol was so long ago.

Most people estimate it’s around 80. I’ve never seen anyone with more than 70ish on pin. Usually when people say its a “map blob” it’s 60 people on a pin, 5 people afk at spawn, 10 people running around doing whatever.
The cap was ~90. Recently I was in a blob with 86 on tag and it was taken shortly after reset.
should be 100, and usually 25% of these people are MIA.

The cap got lowered several time since release. Probably around 70 now.

It was 88 before any current reduction.

Aliera Zero – Guardian / Reaver Zero – Necro
After saturday’s reduction I see 2 guilds running at a single border, both 20-25 ppl, so it is about 60, maybe 70 max. atm.
Pretty sure that if they cap it at 20 per map the lag will be solved but come on Anet, this is suppose to be massive fighting.
I think it’s pretty rare for a server below T2 to be able to queue a map outside of reset and prime time. SBI has been hovering between rank 10 and 9 for the last couple months and we rarely get two maps queued on reset.
its deffinetly over 80 players. Probably around 100-110.
My guess would be 100. I’ve seen 80-man zergs, and there are always a few roamers/people afking in spawn.
If the eotm cap is the same as the normal wvw maps I would say it is something between 100 and 110. I had a /supplyinfo counting around 90 players on my eotm zerg during the double wvw xp weekend.

The new cap reduction, whatever it is can be a good thing. It pushes players to BLs instead of all turtling the Dorito in EB. I can’t tell you how many times EB was player capped with a karma train extending the length of the map and we couldn’t even find a few people to flip a camp in our own BL.

I really feel this is wrong, why are everyone piling into EBG and avoiding the Borderlands ? In that case they should rather reduce the number of Borderlands, and put up more copies of EBG.
Stupid Homemap system. They could have so much more freedom with maps if they just got rid of it.

It is currently 60.
