What is up with text suppression?
Weird… never had that happen to me. Last night I posted many things in map chat while scouting/defending and never once had a suppression message issue.
… just call me … Tim :)
Yeah. I’ve never experienced it before, either. But, it was quite awhile before I could get another callout through map. I ended up using Team Chat – in order to get the word out.

I get this once in a while. Just don’t put the very exact text in and you able to dodge this problem. Also /t isn’t affected so you can spam there away.

How can we even rally the people on our map if we are suppressed for posting 1 message and then 12 minutes later… another? Both were callouts to defend our north camp with fast yaks working on upgrading our north towers.
Can anyone explain how two messages within 12 minutes deserves suppression?
First text: 12:36 AM: “n camp incoming”
Next text attempt: 12:48 AM: Your message was suppressed due to excessive messaging.
Anyone else noticing similar problem?
This happens, seemingly randomly, to many throughout the game, not just in WvW.
But nowhere else is ‘message suppressed’ such a problem. It can and does change scores as those who work as scouts are shut down.
There should be no message suppression in WvW.
Block works if you need it to deny abuses.
Stop the suppressing.

It’s happening a lot more often.
Call out “blue blob to Anz” in map chat.
45 minutes go by with out saying anything in ANY chat.
Try to call out “green zerg to OW”, surpressed.

it happen when you use word that phrase together in same way. the game will think you are a bot.
such as inc at north camp
inc at south camp
inc at nw camp
^ game go stop talking because you used word “inc” "at""camp" 3 times in a row.
