Seriously people, as if the invisible enemies were not enough. Now I need to wait 3 seconds for my skills to fire. Did you by any chance increase the map population caps to let a few more people join and wasted the experience for everyone?
Another thing, why there’s no option to switch off ALL animation and ALL textures? That would cause a huge fps increase for some. That would also make the game look like a chess game a bit but I would gladly increase my fps rate in 100+ vs 100+ situations if your engine cannot handle so many people in one spot the way it is now.
And last question, why did you create a game that cannot handle so many people in one spot if WvW seems to be your main idea of endgame experience? Isn’t it like, you know, dumb? “Hey people! We got a great game where you can battle for castles and such, but you won’t be able to see anyone if there’s a bit more people together at one spot.”. We’ve been there you know? We’ve seen it in Warhammer, we’ve seen it in Rift. Why do you people keep doing games that cannot handle the load? Just, don’t. Please.
